I know I still have 20k debts to pay off, but me and my boyfriend have been talking a lot recently about moving in together.
We realise this isnt going to be until 2011 but its still worth dreaming about hey! We living 200 miles away from each other so its gonna be a BIG change.
I'm living fairly ok at the moment, managing to pay my ways and still have a semi-life. I want to continue this MSE way of life but dont have the first CLUE how much things will cost with running my own house.
Can anyone help me!?
Working on us both earning £1000 each per month, no kids, no benefits. And a mortgage on a house worth say £140,000.
What would be the mortgage cost? and all the other SOA bits and pieces.
I love budgeting now! hehehe

From picking up things from this site - I look at the max:
Council tax = £110
Gas, electric, water = £40 each
TV = £11
Then you add the mortgage which I know nothing about lol & other bills like, phone, insurance,car etc
There will be things I've missed0 -
mortgage depends on the interest rate really but if you have a look on the halifax or abbey sites or similar they have calculators.Mortgage OP 2026 £350/2000Mortgage OP 2025 £7700/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
Mortgage balance: £32,990
Make £50 a month Jan £20
Boiler fund £1225/3000
