Lol, and theres me signing up just so i can concur with him. I hope the mods just delete his link and ban him but leave the post as it is a brilliant deal.

I brought mine just before Christmas for £74.97 and am extremely pleased with it. I have been a massive X Files fan but have never been willing to pay so much for the box set until now.

The UK version doesn't have some of the extra goodies that the US version has but I've heard their fancy boxes are falling apart. That said I was worried that the box supplied with the UK version might be really lame but it isn't. Its quite sturdy. The DVD cases are good as well although the artwork isn't the best. They have a kind of splash on a black background and photo in there of aliens, different characters etc. I would have preferred it if they had gone with something simpler like a black background with X-Files in white and Season number. You get the movie as well and a episode booklet although the book doesn't contain much information on each episode just a very brief summary.

I am currently going through Season 1 and the quality is as it is on the TV. It hasn't been remastered or anything like that which is what i was hoping for. There are quite a few extras. Each Season has it's own 'Truth about Season 1/2/3 etc' documentary. Having seen one or two of these documentaries before through 'other' means i know they are great as they summarise what happened during the season, what it could mean and have interviews with cast. Theres also commentaries on certain episodes by Chris Carter himself which is cool. We also get deleted scenes for each season, television spots/trailers and various documentaries on special effects etc spread throughout the seasons. Mind you I'm reading this all from the booklet.

But 201 episodes plus extras for that price is a steal either way!!!

I got this for £51.97 from Amazon, but still a good deal at the price.

I ordered it at £51.97 but it got cancelled as a misprice. Has anyone order it at £67.97 and received it? I was thinking of placing an order but don't want to bother if it is another misprice.
