The these http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
Mortgages make money. Definitely don't wanabee mortgage free!0 -
Don't know whether you are a designer fiend, and don't know how good they were but Matalan had loads of ski stuff on sale when I was in the other day, very reasonably priced, It depends where you are going. We went to France last February and we were too warm, didn't wear our thermals at all (me and kids), therefore not worth spending a lot. Primark was great for thermal stuff tho just in case (very cold in areas where advanced skiiers go OH not me! He used his) unbelievably cheap there.LBM 17th April 2007:j

Both Aldi and Lidl had some a few weeks ago. The Aldi stuff was brilliant quality - we've just been skiing at Christmas and hubby's Aldi 2 piece stood up very well. There's still a lot of it left where I live - not the skiing capital of the NorthWest!0

Have you tried Lillywhites or Sportsdirect

I think if you wait till later in the season it gets cheaper, I picked out the trousers and they were £200 -
Try the outlet villages, most have a helly hansen shop, I was in the Blacks shop at the manchester fort the other day and they had some great deals on ski pants, not cheap but 70% off the normal price.0
