I'm extremely pleased with my Kirsty exercise bike which I got from Argos (I think they are on sale at the moment). This particular one might not suit you if you are male but Argos have a good selection at decent prices.

If you want to go really cheap, you could probably pick up a bargain on eBay, try filtering results to show only items located near you, which you can collect in person. There tends to be a bit of a demand for exercise equipment this time of year though ;)
  • Asda have just put some exercise equipment out including an exercise bike, but didn't take notice of price I'm afraid.

I got one from Tesco last yr which is pretty good, for £35 in xmas sale......though at the mo it tends to be a very good clothes horse :rotfl:

  • I got mine from Argos last year and this it was about £50 and am also glad that Im not the only one who doubles it up as a clothes horse! lol

If you have any second hand shops near you, you could try there. Ive always noticed a few in the cash convertors near me. Or even charity shops, I got a stepper from one years ago.

What area are you in? I'm offering on up on Freecycle (which is where I got it from)!

I replaced it with one of these: http://www.thesportshq.com/ProductDetails.asp?PCLinkID=492 It's £69.99 but also works as a cross-trainer and is FAR better quality than the old one. According to the link, it was originally £229.99 (I paid £79.99).

Also on Quidco for 10% discount.

  • I just cam home from asda - they had them there. I can't remember the price but i know it was under £60 - it may have been £39. Worth a look anyway
