Playstation 3

in I wanna buy it or do it
I want to buy the playstation 3, however do PS1 and PS2 games work on it?

Does anyone know of any good deals regarding playstation 3 offers.
Is it better to go 40gb or 60gb.

    Hi

    The 60GB version of the PS3 is no longer being made by Sony, so you may have trouble getting hold of a new one. However, the 60GB does have baackwards compatability so you would be able to play PS1 & PS2 games on it.

    Unfortunatly, the 40GB version doesn't have backwards compatability. The best prices I have seen on it are £279.99 for just the console on Amazon or £299.99 + pre-selected game from PCWorld & Game.

    As above, if you want to play ps1/ps2 games on it, you need either the 60gb PS3, or the 40gb PS3 and a PS2 :)

    Just seen the Play.com has the 60GB version in stock. You might have to be quick though!

    I thought that they stopped manufactoring 60gb PS3's so I would be surprised if any shops have any left. The only place I have seen them is ebay and they going for anything from £350+++
    Our dream has come true... :D
