I'm 19 years old and need £2200 (3000 euros) for a deposit on a vehicle carnet.
I am employed at the moment, with a reasonable salary (£19000), live at home. Have a contract phone, a credit card which has been paid on time always and have never exceeded my overdraft at the bank.
I will be riding my motorcycle around the world this year from march, and will be away for 6 months which i have a nice sum of money to pay for, although this is going to be payed in a lump some before i go away (for tax reasons), meaning i only have a couple hundred quid in the kitty at the moment.
Unfortunately this deposit ^^ is stretching my budget...and will be returned to me in full in September, i can't afford not to have this £2200. There is zero chance that i can spend the money! I CANNOT borrow it from family and friends and am desperate to get my hands on it. I will want to repay it in full in september, but would rather slow the payments between now and then or not repay at all until September...it may therefore be worth me borrowing it over a longer period?
I have no security to offer? I don't think i can secure it against my mums house either because of her credit rating. I tried to apply for an MNBA Platinum 0% card but got declined, i don't want to apply for anything else until i sought advise incase it damages my credit rating.
When applying should i tell them the story as to what i need it for, or will this freak them knownig i will be out of the uk for 6/7 months.
Who shall i go with! Help!

Also finally...i may may be able to get someone to guarentor it...my final worry is i havn't been paid since December or so and so any bank statements will not show a regular salary going in despite the fact i'm earning it.
Just looked on halifac website and it says 'you musn't have been declined credit in the last month'...i just did ten minutes ago on MBNA. I think i may have scuppered myself.0 -
