Morning again - though the 'room' is empty still. There's some bright sunshine beaming in from the east and onto a watery blue sky. Freezing cold though.
The washing I hung out yesterday didn't dry on the line. The winter sunshine doesn't reach where the line is so it was all wafting gently around in the slight breeze instead. It's now on the upstairs airer and almost dry.
This morning I have my first session volunteering teaching a group of people 'older than me' digital skills. I'm looking forward to, I'm sure they will be a mixed bunch though I'm a bit worried as one chap who was in my class about five years ago, when it was a paid role, is coming back. Maybe it's a social thing for him. A
My lunchtime soup is ready to be microwaved when I get home so all is sorted. I'll bring some wood in with me as I used some up over the weekend and like to have loads indoors.
Keep warm everyone, take care. Hugs to all.x

Good morning
A bright breezy start, forecast to be sunny all day, if a little chilly. I'll take that.
Lots of fireworks going off last night, sounded like an organised display. Not sure where as our village one is this Saturday. Big dog slept through it all.
Not sure what we're doing today, nothing planned. Chicken kievs, chips, mushrooms and peas tonight.
Hoping our missing are OK, and sending late hugs to TA and YL.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning, it's sunny here now, after a damp start.
It's Book Club morning at the library, so I'll be going to that, then pick up a loaf and some milk while I'm out.
Hope your session goes well Gers.
I've got some bedding in the wm, so I'm hoping mine will dry outside Sue, well, it won't dry but might half dry and I'll finish it off upstairs.
Take care folks, see you tomorrow.

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers I hope the first volunteering session goes okay x
I have my volunteering at the charity shop today - it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’m sitting here with a colour on my hair as won’t get another chance this week as I’m taking DDad back home at the weekend/staying for a week.
Little kitten has been out in the garden this weekend now she’s been spayed. She’s learnt to climb trees which is a bit scary but luckily I didn’t have to get the ladders out or call the fire brigade!Hugs to all those struggling with ill health or anniversaries. It’ll be 10 years this month since my nephew died. Still doesn’t seem real tbh.
Have a good day all

Morning folks and thanks GERS. We had lovely sunshine earlier but that's now disappeared but apparently it may be back.
Although the site officially shut at the w/e we are off over to the 'van this morning to collect some stuff DD didn't have room for last week when she and youngest had a last 2 night stay of the season. I still have my store cupboard to empty, toiletry case to bring back, in readiness for re-stocking next Spring and also my bedding. DD wants a detour through Otley on the way back for the excitement of the Everything 20p shop! She likes to stock up on the bargain birthday cards. Then a much needed late lunch somewhere before heading home. It'll be pot luck where we end up as some of the places we like are closed on Mondays.
By the time we are back home that will be the day spoken for so no jobs planned. I'm just waiting for a text telling me they are on their way to collect me so I'm ready and waiting. Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all x

Morning everyone
It's nice and sunny here this morning. Nice afternoon with mam and dad yesterday, though she did wonder at one point if they'll be home for Christmas, I just changed the subject. I had a long chat with DD in Nuremberg while I ate my tea, she was all aches and pains after her Hyrox competition on Saturday. I also managed another hour in the garden, cutting up the cardboard from the huge boxes the sofas were in, it's going to take a while to get rid of it all.
I have a pile of ironing to do, then I'm back to work later…7 weeks till we break up for Christmas!
TA I've never heard of an Everything 20p shop.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning all
Blue sky but chilly here. Bedding out on the line but the sun won't be shining on it because of next door's trees 🙄. Breezy so they should dry.
Baking gingerbread men this morning for Christmas. They freeze well so I can decorate them nearer the time.
That'll be me for the day after I've cleared all the mess I've made!
Hugs too all who need one.
Have a good day all x
