Good deal on SMA at Boots

Boots are doing an offer where you get an extra 200 points when you spend £10 on selected baby products.
I ordered 10 tins of SMA Progress and although they were showing as £6.89 each they appeard in basket at 2 for £10, total £50.
I then used a code for £10 off a £50 spend to bring the total down to £40 (free delivery as original order was over £45)
Due to the bonus points I got an extra 1200 points on top of standard 200 making a total of 1400 points and also used quidco for a bit of cashback.
As baby milk is very expensive it is always good to find a deal so thought I'd share it. :j

Not follow-on milks, which SMA progress is. Appears (according to the reply I got from the ASA) that even if they imply they are advertising one type of milk, as long as somewhere on the ad it says "follow-on milk" ie. 6 months plus, they can get away with it. [hmm]0

Why bother with follow on milk, cows milk is fine at that age 12months + and cheaper

I heard shops can't do special is milk or give points.
Apparently to encourage more people to breastfeed.0 -

That's stupid...it should be down to personal choice whether you breast feed or bottle feed. So silly to not do points etc on 1st Milks...I always wondered why when my LO was on 1st Milk.0
