Who does MOT offers in Glasgow?

I am looking for a garage that does cheaper MOT's.

Has anyone seen seen a sign outside their local garage in the Glasgow and surrounding areas please ?

MOT tests are same price, it depends what they find and if they want to fix it!
Go to local garages who want repeat business from you, not one off stings, is best policy IMHO.
Avoid (and this is a generalisation) the chains/big dealerships - Arny, Kwikcr*p, etc - as they what to earn as much from you in one visit as possible. Hence "free" winter checks that cost you at lot, as the anti-freeze is suddenly the wrong colour. Or the use the fear factor, " I wouldn't take the chance with two kids in the car missus"

if ye reckon the car will pass no probs you could follow martins advice and take it to a council depot, they won't do any work needed though. it's in possil.

Thanks for your replies. I ended up paying full price for my husbands cars MOT but it didnt need any extra work so was quite pleased.

My car is due it's mot next month so I may try the one in Thornliebank.

If you join our Auto Club 1 (only costs £1 and it's a one off charge) you can get discounts of up to 30% on mechanical parts and up to 20% on labour and tyres.
