50 year old Aunt -what to get?

I have no idea what to buy my aunt for her 50th. She is quite close, so something reasonable would be required. She likes pampering herself, so maybe some smellies, but does anyone else have any ideas what you buy a mature lady that is also pretty cheap - Max £50!

    Vouchers for pampering.
    A pamper hamper
    A Scrapbook and embelishments
A mirror or glass engraved with signitures and messages from all family
A large unglazed platter to do same sort of thing with fingerprints & messages then have it glazed.
A digital photoframe filled with special photos
A meal out and a token gift then a framed photo of you all together on the meal

A voucher at a local spa, aromatherapy massage, that kind of thing. Luxury. Something she wouldn't buy herself.

I like the idea of a pamper ham.per you could make it look really nice by using a soft towel to line the basket & pad it out. Wrap finished basket in cellophane it will look lovely

As someone rapidly approaching 50....Aaargh! I would really love vouchers fro a pampering treatment - maybe several of you could liaise and do the same - one of our local beauty salons does 'spa days' for about £100 - various treatments and lunch. So if several people got together you could buy vouchers for the same place, and she could then choose to have individual tratments or a whole day of pampering. I don't really need more 'stuff' unless it is something luxurious I wouldn't buy for myself - Jo Malone, a soft expensive pashmina, butter-soft leather gloves.

You are going to have to give us more information about this aunt! I am 53 and most of my friends are about my age.... but we vary in our tastes/ wants/ don't wants / financial circumstances etc. I personally don't really want more 'things' as I am drowning in clutter but I would LOVE offers of help/ time with things like DIY or gardening etc. but to other 50 year olds it would be the opposite I suspect.

I am fast approaching the big 50 too (well it's 3 years away LOL) and I still think I am 17, I love spa treatments, nice food, clothes, bags, shoes, travel etc etc, it's difficult to generalise about what 50 year olds like these days.

£50 is quite a generous amount to have to spend and I am sure you will come up with something she will love.

I recently won a Red Letter Day and they have Spa days for £49 if that helps so I am sure your local one can do a voucher for a Pamper day for around this amount if you think she would enjoy it.
