TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Channel 4 x KISS - Online Competition” (the “Competition”)
These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.
1.Entry ROUTES and Costs

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

These Terms and Conditions (together with our Privacy Policy and website Terms and Conditions and Cookie Policy) (“the Terms”) sets out the terms and conditions upon which we, Lime Pictures Ltd, registered in England with company number 03068324, whose registered office is at Berkshire House, 168-173 High Holborn, London WC1V 7AA (hereinafter referred to as “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) are providing the Hollyoaks Set Visit/Tour (“the Tour”) to you, your guests and/or visitors (hereinafter referred to as “You” or “Your”).
Please read these Terms (including the Visitor Rules) carefully before purchasing a ticket (including e-ticket) for the Tour (“Ticket”). By purchasing a ticket, You agree (for Yourself and for and on behalf of any guests and/or visitors) to comply with and be bound by the Terms and will ensure that where Tickets are purchased on behalf of other parties, You are responsible for making sure they adhere to the Terms. Any breach of these Terms whether by you, your guests and/or visitors will be a breach of these Terms.
Tickets:
Tickets can be purchased via the Ticket Tailor website: http://app.tickettailor.com/events/hollyoakstour/2315503 and must be purchased in advance. Your ticket purchase will additionally be bound by the terms and conditions of sale of the third-party website where third party suppliers are providing services. Cash and/or cheques are not accepted. Once You have purchased a Ticket and payment has been received, You will receive an email with a Ticket reference number which constitutes your proof of purchase. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors even after we have sent email confirmation though will endeavour to do so as soon as we become aware of any error.
You will receive a QR code which will be your ticket following purchase. This can be printed and/or added to your Apple/Google Wallet.
All bookings are provisional until You have received confirmation of the Booking with Your Ticket reference.
You must provide us with accurate details about You at the time of Your order. We take no responsibility should you fail to receive the email due to reasons outside of our control for example incorrect email address, junk, spam filters or other technology failures. Tickets are non-refundable and non-amendable (other than where we have to cancel the tour as set out below). We are unable to offer any refunds or exchanges for cancellations or no-shows, but we retain discretion as to whether any refunds of Ticket Prices (excluding booking fees which are non-refundable in all circumstances)/partial refunds or change of date/time will be given in extenuating circumstances.
Only Tickets purchased directly from us are valid for admission and any Tickets purchased from unauthorised third parties will not be valid. Tickets cannot be copied, transferred or resold.
Tickets cannot be used for advertising, promotions, competitions, raffles or prizes without our prior written permission. Unlawful resale (actual or attempted) will be grounds for seizure or cancellation, and this will be done without refund or other compensation.
We reserve the right to cancel Your Ticket, but will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible. If we need to cancel your Ticket, we will refund You such sums as You have paid to us.
The Ticket (in the form of a QR Code) together with Your email confirmation must be presented on arrival. All persons attending the Tour must hold a valid Ticket being valid for the date and time of the Tour specified. All persons will be provided with wristbands for the Tour they are attending, and it is Your responsibility to keep this on Your person (and each guest and/or visitor to keep theirs on their person) at all times.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and remain under the care, control and supervision of an Adult Ticket holder at all times who accepts responsibility for such minor they accompany. We reserve the right to require proof of age.
One free carer ticket will be provided for each paying disabled visitor. Proof of entitlement as a carer will be required upon arrival at the Studio and We reserve the right to request documentation to confirm eligibility in advance.
The Tour:
The Hollyoaks set tour is a 75-minute behind-the-scenes walking tour of the show's iconic village, taking place on selected weekend and bank holiday dates through 2026. Visitors will be guided around some of the actual sets used for filming and production, seeing many familiar places up close, such as The Dog in The Pond, the main Hollyoaks Village and The Hutch restaurant.
The Tour is located at Campus Manor, Childwall Abbey Road, Liverpool L16 0JP (“the Studio”). We do not guarantee that all sets will be available during the Tour, some sets may be closed due to production, confidentiality, maintenance or other operational needs and we reserve the right to change and/or substitute sets without notice.
Please note elements of the Tour will take place both indoors and outdoors and we would ask You to check the weather forecast prior to Your visit and dress appropriately. In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions such as heavy snow or ice whereas a result of such it may pose a safety risk, we reserve the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the Tour. The safety of our staff, visitors, agents and contractors is paramount, and, in such event, we will provide you with as much notice as possible and may, where possible, reschedule or refund as required.
The Tour will be conducted in English language only. If you or a member of your party are deaf or have a hearing impairment which may require adjustments to the tour, please notify us in advance so reasonable adjustments can be considered. If no notification is received, no such adjustments may be made,
Studio Information:
- Accessible bathroom facilities will be available;
- If You or a member of Your party has any access requirements (including, without limitation, any hearing impairment which may affect your enjoyment of the Tour), please notify us at the time of purchase of the Ticket or as soon as possible so we can ensure that all of our visitors are able to enjoy the full experience but due to the nature of the set, it may not be possible for all sets or areas to be accessible.
- From time to time, we will draw to Your attention certain health and safety procedures which You and your guests/visitors must adhere to, including fire evacuation procedures;
- Parking in an allocated area will be made available for Ticket holders only which is entirely at their risk and we accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to any vehicle (or contents) whilst parked at the Studio;
- There will be a third-party supplier providing access to food and beverages at the Studio;
- Limited merchandise will be available to purchase separately. Unless faulty, we are not able to offer any refund or exchange on any merchandise. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Studio Arrival:
You must arrive at the Studio no later than 15 (fifteen) minutes before the Tour is due to commence. Access will not be allowed for late entry but where a Tour is being held later on the same day, if we are able to accommodate You on a later Tour, we will endeavour to do so.
Security/belongings:
Please note, and we reserve the right to request, that You may be asked to submit to searches to your person or belongings. If You refuse to submit to the same or anything is found to be in Your possession which we believe to be, or is likely to be, illegal, dangerous, or unsuitable, You will be denied admission or removed from the Tour.
CCTV is in operation throughout the Tour.
Please only bring essential items (which must remain with you during the tour), and we have no storage facilities on site.
No backpacks, cases or large tote bags will be permitted and no bags larger than A4 size.
You must keep your personal belongings with You at all times. We accept no responsibility or liability for the loss, theft, damage or otherwise to any personal items brought to the Studio.
Conduct/Rules:
Whilst at the Studio, You and your guests and visitors must remain with the tour guide for the duration of the tour and comply with all directions of our staff, any relevant health and safety notices, policies, procedures or announcements made.
You accept that You have a duty to take reasonable steps to ensure Your own safety and the safety of other (including, without limitation, visitors, our staff, agents or contractors).
You, your guest and/or visitors must remain respectful of others, and we will not tolerate any verbal/physical abuse, obscene, racist or threatening language including, without limitation, to other guests, our staff, agents, contractors or otherwise.
We are committed to maintaining a workplace free from harassment and sexual harassment. This expectation extends to all visitors, customers, clients, contractors, suppliers, and other third parties who attend the Company premises (including the Studio) or interact with the Company’s employees.
Any form of unwanted conduct and conduct of a sexual nature that has the purpose or effect of violating a person's dignity, or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Visitors (whether You or Your guests or other visitors) who engage in any form of harassment may be asked to leave immediately, denied future access to the Studio and/or Company premises, and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities.
If You or any of Your guests experience or witness any inappropriate or unwanted conduct during your visit then we encourage all individuals to report any concerns without fear of retaliation, this should be to a member of the events team, located at the reception area of the tour or anonymously via Tell Jane - 0800 689 0802.
No pets or animals (other than guide or hearing dogs which are highly trained and will not wander freely around the Site) will be permitted;
Smoking (including vapes and electronic cigarettes) is not permitted at the Studio;
No illegal drugs, alcohol, fireworks, air horns, whistles, weapons or similar items or dangerous or hazardous items are permitted at the Studio or on the Tour and if we reasonably suspect that You are or may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, reserve the right to remove You from the tour and/or the Studio;
No food or drink to be brought to the Studio without our consent (please contact us if You have any medical requirements necessitating food or drink);
The use of roller skates, bicycles, toys, games or similar will be permitted on the Tour.
If Your Filming/Photography causes any nuisance to our staff and/or other visitors, without prejudice to any other right or remedy we may have, we reserve the right to confiscate Your device or equipment for the remainder of the Tour.
Any breach of these Terms (including, without limitation any health and safety) or any unacceptable, threatening, offensive or disruptive behaviour or failure to follow our reasonable instructions by You and/or your guests or visitors that causes, or is likely to cause, damage, nuisance, injury to the Studio (including, without limitation the sets), the Tour, any member of our staff or other visitor will give us, our agents and contractors the right to remove you (without any refund of Your Ticket price or booking fees) from the Tour and/or the Studio immediately. We shall also have the right to refuse admission or remove You (and your guests or visitors) where we reasonably believe that such admission may be a risk to the Studio, the safety of others, be disruptive, cause a nuisance or affect the enjoyment or safety of others attending the Tour or where these Terms or Tour Rules are breached. This is without prejudice to any claim that we may have against You or arising out of Your actions.
Filming/Photography:
The taking of photographs and short video recordings with camera/recording devises is permitted on the Tour as set out herein but we reserve the right to restrict photography/recording in areas during Your visit due to production requirements (for example to maintain confidentiality on forthcoming storylines). The use flashes, tripods, drones or other professional or specialist photography or audio-visual equipment is not permitted. Any photographs/short videos taken are for You to enjoy for Your own personal, private and non-commercial use only. Unless express permission has been granted by us, any other use of the same (including without limitation any reproduction) is prohibited. We give no permission, consent, warranty or otherwise for any other ticket holders, staff or visitors and You must obtain any consents or permissions as may be necessary to include or use their image or otherwise.
You agree that You irrevocably transfer (or will upon creation) to us all intellectual property rights in any content recorded, created or produced by You in breach of these Terms.
You will also if requested by us, delete any content created by You in breach of these Terms.
Any breach of these provisions may result in legal action.
From time to time, we (and individuals engaged by us, for example cast members) may carry out photography and/or other recording at the Studio and/or Tour and any images and/or recordings may feature visitors. By accepting these Terms, You (for Yourself and for and on behalf of any guests and/or visitors and You as either the parent or legal guardian of any child attending under the age of 18) consent to the use of such images and/or recordings by us in connection with advertising, publicity or promoting of the Tour (such as on the Tour website, the Programme website, social media sites and pages, partner sites and pages (such as Channel 4), and other advertisement or brochures/marketing materials for the Tour), and for our own and/or the Programme broadcaster’s purposes in perpetuity, and in doing so, you allow us to edit, modify, publish and make available such images (including, actual or simulated likeness) and/or recordings. You acknowledge that no fees, expenses, compensation or otherwise will be payable if we use such any such images and/or recordings. You acknowledge and agree that the copyright in such images and/or recordings rests with us. There is no obligation on our or part to publish, distribute or otherwise use such material.
If You do not wish for Your (or your guest or child as applicable) image, recording or likeness to be used in this manner, please either notify a member of the events team, located at the reception area of the tour prior to or immediately following the Tour or email: hollyoaks@beautifulproductions.co.uk as soon as possible.
Trade Marks and Copyright:
The materials incorporated within the Tour including, without limitation, any sets, props, wardrobe, text, scripts, graphics, images, artwork, illustrations, photographs, animations, music, video, audio-visual works, designs, logos, software and other content (“the Material”) are protected by copyright and either owned by us or our licensors.
Liability:
Our liability for any losses suffered by You as a result of us breaching a contract between us is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Tickets booked. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we shall in no event be liable for any loss or damage to any or all of Your belongings, equipment (including vehicles) or otherwise or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage or any economic loss, including without limitation, travel or accommodation expenses incurred, any loss of profits or goodwill or anticipated savings arising from any fault in or related to the Tour, or any act or omission of us, our employees, servants or agents in respect of the Tour or merchandise purchased whilst at the tour (other than your statutory rights). Without limiting the foregoing, our liability shall be to the exclusion of all other liability to You whether by way of contract, tort or otherwise. The Company shall undertake its obligations under this Agreement with reasonable skill and care, but all other warranties whatsoever concerning the Agreement, whether express or implied, by statute, at common law or otherwise howsoever, are hereby excluded. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not limit our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.
Where part of the Tour are provided by a third-party supplier (for example, food and catering), that supplier’s individual liability will be set out in their own terms and conditions. You may request from the supplier directly copies of any relevant terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not accept liability for acts or omissions by You or unconnected third parties or suppliers of services which do not form part of the agreement between You and us.
We shall have no liability to You if we are prevented from or delayed in performing our obligations hereunder as a result of any events or omissions beyond our reasonable control including without limitation, chemical or nuclear accident or acts of God, war or terrorist activity, epidemic/pandemic, disease, accident, strike, lock-out or other labour controversy, riot, civil commotion or disturbance, act of public enemy, law, enactment, rule, restraint, order or act of any governmental instrumentality or military authority, fire, flood, storm, natural disaster, failure of technical facilities, inability to obtain sufficient labour, technical or other personnel, failure of water, electricity or other public utilities, unavailability or other cause not reasonably within our company’s control.
You (as the Ticket holder or parent/guardian of a minor) will be responsible for all costs, losses and liabilities incurred as a result of any damage to our property caused by You, Your actions/minors under Your supervisor or control whilst at the Studio.
Personal Data:
We will only use data in accordance with our Privacy Policy available
Variation:
We reserve the right to revise and amend these Terms (and any rules and protocols in place at the Studio and/or on the Tour) by notifying you or including the same on our website. You will be subject to the Terms in force at the time that You purchased Tickets.
Waiver:
Any failure or delay by a party in exercising its rights to terminate shall not constitute a waiver thereof or for the future or any subsequent breach thereof. All remedies, rights, undertakings, obligations and agreements shall be cumulative and none of them shall be in limitation of any other remedy, right, undertaking, obligation or agreement.
Severability:
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the validity or enforceability or any other provision of this Agreement so that each provision is several from each other provision.
Third Party Rights:
The parties hereto agree and declare that the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to this Agreement and that no term or condition of this Agreement shall confer or be construed as conferring any right on any third party.
Entire Agreement:
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior oral or written agreements, understanding or arrangements between them relating to the subject matter hereof. Neither party shall be entitled to rely on any agreement, understanding or arrangement which is not expressly contained, referred to or anticipated in this agreement and no change may be made to it except in writing signed by both parties.
Governing Law:
This agreement and these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, the courts of which shall be courts of competent jurisdiction.
SECTION TWO OF THE PRIZE:
Prize package for 2 people includes:
- Total travel allowance of £75
- 2 nights’ off‑grid glamping accommodation in the winner’s choice of location
The prize package is for two people, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; Travel expenses are included up to the total value of £75 GBP, which can be spent on petrol/parking or travel by public transport; Accommodation is based on two adults sharing one off-grid glamping accommodation in winner’s chosen location; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; The prize excludes any additional travel costs, meals and drinks, hotel incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available; Prize cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (22 December to 3 January) or over Public Holidays; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time; All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older; If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. - Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
- You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
- We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
