‘Win a car or £50,000 cash’ Promotion on the Global Network, October – November 2026, Specific Rules
1. The ‘Win a car or £50,000 cash’ promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Thursday 1st October 2026 to Sunday 1st November 2026 and promoted across Global’s various media channels: websites, apps (including Global Player) & social media accounts, and to recipients of SMS marketing. Global is the Promoter. Prizeshark is the Prize Provider.2. IMPORTANT: THIS PROMOTION IS ONLY OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE UK WHO ARE LOCATED IN THE UK AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. Links to the platforms will also be available via the ‘win’ pages of each radio station’s main website, and via globalplayer.com/win.
7.2. You must complete your entry during the Entry Window by selecting the number of entries you would like to purchase and completing the payment journey through your chosen Payment Services Provider (PSP). The cost of each online entry option is set out in the table at clause 10. No additional fees are charged by Global beyond the entry prices shown; however, your PSP may apply its own transaction fees.8. Entry via SMS Text Message
8.1. To enter the Promotion via SMS text message, you must send a text message starting with the applicable keyword to the applicable shortcode text number (The ‘Text Message Line’) during the Entry Window, as instructed via marketing messages. The text system may not recognise deviations from the spelling of each keyword and therefore may not be entered into the Promotion.
8.2. Text messages will be charged at £2.50 plus one standard network rate message. The first text message equates to 2 entries into the draw (£2.50 + standard network rate). For details about the number of entries and the charges applied please see clause 10.
8.3. On entering the Promotion by text message, you will receive text bouncebacks which confirm your entry and invite you to enter again to get additional entries in the draw. The details of these offers will be included in the bouncebacks and a full breakdown of how these offers work is detailed below in clause 10. It is your responsibility to ensure that, if you respond to any of these offers, the Entry Window for the Promotion is still open. Entries received before or after this time will not be eligible.
8.4. Charges will be applied to your phone bill as a one-off charge and you will not incur any further charges unless you engage with the service again by sending another text message to us.
8.5. IMPORTANT: Once you have entered this Promotion by text message, if you subsequently enter using a different keyword/shortcode combination, you may lose any additional entries that you may qualify for as displayed in clause 10.9. Entry via RCS (Rich Communication Services)
9.1 We may at our discretion to selected recipients of marketing text messages, send RCS messages promoting the Promotion. These will be received to your phone’s text messaging app. Entry by RCS will be made using your chosen payment provider, following the instructions in the message. Transactions made by this method are one-off charges and you will not incur any further charges unless you engage with the service again by initiating another request to charge. 9.2 If you have entered the Promotion by Online Entry or text message, we may send you further marketing messages to enter again by RCS if you are opted into marketing by text message.

11. With regards to entries charged to a mobile phone (by either text message or Direct Carrier Billing):
11.1. We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of messages and/or charges to and/or from us.
11.2. We are not responsible for erroneous entries which may occur through a mobile phone network or handset error.
11.3. If you are entering this promotion using our Premium Rate Services, it is your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient credit on your phone to pay for this. In the event you enter and have insufficient credit to pay for your entry/ies, payment may be taken at a later date.12. 13. At our discretion, we may offer free entries, discounted entries, subsidised entries, individual user incentives, and other promotional incentives decided by us. These must be redeemed during the valid entry period, as stated in the communications you receive and you may need to create a ‘global iD’ to be able to redeem them (please refer to section 3 of our Privacy Policy on what information we collect from you when you create a Global Player account). Unless otherwise stated, each promo code for discounts or free entries is limited to one use per person. Any such offer will clearly state its terms, including any conditions or limitations, at the time it is communicated to you. These offers and incentives will be communicated via the channels above at our discretion. Full terms of each offer will be made available at the time of communication.
14. Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries are prohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prize from you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methods or, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IP address, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, at our sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent.
15. You must use the same phone number across the entire Promotion period, regardless of your entry method. It is a breach of our Promotion Terms and Conditions to use multiple names and/or phone numbers to enter our Promotions, and we reserve the right to disqualify your entries and/or withhold or reclaim any prize from you if we know or have reasonable grounds to believe you are doing or have done this.
16. We also reserve the right to disqualify your entries and/or withhold or reclaim any prize from you if we know or have reasonable grounds to believe that you are making or have made multiple entries by phone by using a computer system, using automated dialling technology or by any other method which could or does result in you exceeding the maximum number of entries permitted under these Specific Rules.
17. If we know or reasonably suspect you are trying to enter or have entered this Promotion by using more than one phone number or if we know or reasonably suspect you are using variations of your name, we reserve the right to disqualify any relevant entries and exclude you from this Promotion and also permanently exclude you from entering any of our Promotions.
18. Within 7 days of the Promotion closing, one entrant will be selected at random from all the entries received (Online, SMS, RCS, and the two Free Entry Routes). The selected entry must be eligible. The winner is selected by an encrypted random number generator from the pool of eligible entries.
19. Each entry carries an equal chance of being selected, and every entry is treated in exactly the same way in the draw, irrespective of: (a) when, during the Entry Window, the entry was made; (b) the method of entry (post (Free Entry Route), phone (Free Entry Route from Monday 26th October 2026), text message, Online Entry or RCS); (c) the price paid for the entry, if any, including whether the entry was obtained at standard price, as part of a bundle, or using any discount, promotional code, subsidised entry, free entry or other special offer; (d) whether the entrant has entered before or is entering for the first time; and (e) the entrant's geographic location, gender or any other information beyond the mobile numbers from which the entries are sent.
20. Any special offer, bundle or discount (including any free entry) affects only the price and/or the number of entries an entrant may obtain. It does not change the equal chance that each individual entry has of being selected, and it does not affect, alter or invalidate any entry already validly made. Each entry obtained in connection with any special offer, bundle or discount is a single, independent entry in the applicable Entry Window, carries the same weight and chance of winning as any other entry (including a free entry), and is subject to the entry limits in Clauses 32 - 37.
21. Where we make any special offer, bundle or discount available during an Entry Window, its full terms will be made clear before entry. Those terms include how to obtain the offer, any promotional code required, the period for which it is available, the channel(s) through which it may be used, and any conditions or limitations (including any limit on the number of uses per person). The availability of any such offer does not vary these Specific Rules or the equal-chance basis on which the winner is selected.
22. If you’re the randomly-selected entrant, one of our representatives will call you on the telephone number on which you entered the Promotion. Please note, we will not be able to call you back on another number and we reserve the right to ask you to confirm your telephone number when we call you back. If you are unable to confirm your telephone number and we know or have reason to believe that you have breached the Promotion Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies), select another entrant to participate in the Promotion and/or withhold or reclaim any prize from you, as applicable. If the entry is ineligible, we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another entrant, as applicable.
23. If the selected entry belongs to you, you may be asked to have a call with a presenter(s). That call will either be broadcast live or pre-recorded for future broadcast. You must answer your telephone when we contact you. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. You must respond to our contact within 7 days. Otherwise you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
24. We reserve the right to ask you to answer participation entry questions to ensure you are eligible to win in accordance with the Promotion Terms and Conditions. This call will be recorded and may be used for monitoring purposes and/or as evidence should we have reason to believe there has been a breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions or if we find any inconsistencies in the future. If your entry is ineligible, either at the time we initially contact you or later once we have your full details, we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies), select another entrant to participate in the Promotion and/or withhold or reclaim the prize from you and select another entrant, as applicable. It is your responsibility to make sure you give us clear and truthful answers to our eligibility questions.
25. For the avoidance of doubt, if we call you, we offer no guarantee of how this will display on your phone. It could be ‘unknown’, ‘withheld’, it might show a telephone number, or display in any other way. Make sure that, if you enter, you’re available to safely answer your phone.
Pubilicity:
26. We may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion subject always to our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws.
27. The surname and county of the prizewinner will be made available to anyone who writes to us at https://global.com/contact/ within a reasonable period after the Promotion has closed, stating the name of the Promotion. If you are the prizewinner and you object to this information being made available, please let us know.
28. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we may interview you, which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you in connection with the Promotion either by telephone or in person and we may use such films, recordings and/or photograph(s) for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion.
29. We may also contact you up to six months after the date you are notified of your win to interview you retrospectively about your win and what you spent the money on. We may publish this interview on our websites and/or social media channels, along with any further photographs, videos and/or voicenotes that you may provide us with.
30. By entering the Promotion, you are requesting that we process your entry into the Promotion immediately. We complete the entry process immediately following receipt of your entry and therefore you acknowledge that once you enter the Promotion you will lose any right you may have to cancel your entry and receive a refund under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This does not affect any other statutory rights you may have, including any right to a refund where the Promotion is not provided as described in these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility:
31. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion is not open to residents of the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
32. Multiple entries are permitted across the Global Win platform up to a maximum of £40 spend across the duration of Promotion; any additional entries above this limit will be excluded from the Promotion.
33. Multiple entries into the Promotion by SMS and RCS are permitted up to a maximum of 16 paid entries (£40 + standard network rate charges) across the duration of the Promotion; any additional entries above this limit will be excluded from the Promotion.
34. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be made via post, but note there is only one entry per sealed envelope/postcard received.
35. Multiple free phone entries are permitted up to a maximum of 200 when this free route of entry is available (each call generating one entry). Any additional entries above this 200-call limit will be excluded from the Promotion. Free entries carry the same weight per entry in the draw as paid entries.
36. You may make entries by text message, Global Win, the Free Entry Routes and RCS up to the applicable limit of each method of entry. However, the Promotion is for entertainment purposes only and we strongly advise against excessive use.
37. If we believe that entrants may be entering across multiple devices or phone numbers in order to negate the spend limit or free entry limit, they may be disqualified from the Promotion.
38. Global Player subscribers receive one free entry per week as a subscription benefit. Weekly subscription entries do not count towards the limits in paragraphs (a) to (d) above and are additional to them. A subscriber may therefore make entries in excess of those limits by using their weekly subscription entries, up to a maximum of one such entry for each week of the Promotion. Free entries will be received via email and are redeemed online at Global Win. Subscription entries carry the same weight per entry in the draw as all other entries.
39. Only one name and telephone number may be used by you in relation to this Promotion. The use of multiple names, telephone numbers and/or devices is a breach of our Promotion Terms and Conditions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and you will forfeit your prize should we know or have reason to believe that you attempted to use or did use more than one name, phone number and/or device to enter this Promotion. It is also prohibited for anyone else to enter the Promotion using the same phone number including household members or friends.
40. Before transferring any winnings to you we reserve the right to request Photo ID (such as your passport or driving licence) and confirmation that the telephone number you entered on belongs to you and proof of your home address (such as a phone bill with your name, address and telephone number on). You agree and understand that should you win a cash prize you may be required to provide these to verify your eligibility. If you fail to provide the requested information and we are unable to verify your eligibility, we reserve the right to withhold any prize from you.
41. This clause prevails over clause 5.10 of the General Prize Promotion Terms and Conditions in respect of this Promotion:
i) The winner will not be subject to any Exclusion Period as a result of entering or winning this Promotion, whatever the value of the prize or the number of prizes won in the preceding six months, and this win will be disregarded in assessing whether the winner has won more than one prize in any six-month period for the purposes of clause 5.10.
ii) The winner remains eligible to enter and win other Global Promotions across all of Global's brands and platforms, and no existing Exclusion Period will prevent entry into or winning of this Promotion. Global will not, under clause 5.10, withdraw the prize awarded under this Promotion or disqualify the winner.
iii) Entry into and winning of other Global Promotions remains subject to their own Specific Rules and Promotion Terms and Conditions.

44. The winning entrant will receive one prize only. The winner must choose either a Car Prize (selecting a single option from the list below) or the Cash Prize. The winner cannot receive both a Car Prize and the Cash Prize and cannot select more than one Car Prize option.
44.1 Car Prize - Select one option only:

44.2 Cash Prize (alternative to, and in place of, the Car Prize):
i) £50,000 via bank transfer (the "Cash Prize").44.3 For the avoidance of doubt, the Car Prize and the Cash Prize are mutually exclusive alternatives. The winner will receive either one Car Prize option or the Cash Prize, but not both.
Cash Prize Details:
45. If you choose the cash prize and you provide all necessary details via the method directed by 6pm of the day that you win, we will aim to initiate the transfer of funds on the same day, at our discretion, otherwise we will do so on the following working day. If you provide your details on any other day, we will aim to initiate the transfer of funds the next working day after those details are received by us. The winner must hold a valid UK bank account in their name in order to receive the Cash Prize; we will not transfer funds to non-UK bank accounts. You must provide all necessary details via the method directed within 14 days after the original request to do so otherwise the prize will be forfeited in our discretion.

47. There may be an option to choose alternative colours and finishes, subject to availability at the time of the request. Please note there may be additional costs associated with changing the colour or the finish. Any changes and therefore associated costs to the Car Prize details in clause 46 will be the responsibilty of the winner.
48. The winner may request optional extras, upgrades, accessories, or specification changes at their own expense.
49. Any additional costs resulting from modifications, upgrades, optional extras, insurance, taxation changes, or personal preferences must be paid directly by the winner.
50. Vehicle specifications, colours, and availability are subject to manufacturer availability at the time of ordering.
51. Images used in promotional material are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the final supplied vehicle.
52. The prize is non-transferable.
53. We reserve the right to substitute any Car Prize with an alternative vehicle of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary due to manufacturer delays, model changes, discontinuation, or availability issues.
Car Prize Fulfilment:
54. Following winner verification, our Prize Provider will facilitate an introduction between the winner and an appointed authorised dealership.
55. The dealership will manage all aspects of the vehicle ordering process, including:
• Confirming the winner's chosen vehicle
• Discussing available colours and specifications
• Arranging any optional extras requested by the winner (at their own cost)
• Providing estimated delivery times
• Coordinating vehicle registration, handover, and collection or delivery arrangements
56. The Prize Provider acts solely as the prize fulfilment facilitator and is not responsible for manufacturing lead times, specification changes, delivery schedules, or dealership processes.
57. Any optional extras, upgrades, or specification amendments requested by the winner will be contracted directly between the winner and the dealership and must be paid for in full by the winner.
58. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
59. Global and the Prize Provider accept no responsibility for manufacturer delays, production changes, supply chain disruptions, or circumstances outside of their reasonable control that may affect vehicle delivery.
60. Global and the Prize Provider accept no responsibility for costs incurred by the winner outside of those expressly included within the prize description, including but not limited to insurance, fuel or charging costs, maintenance, optional extras, vehicle taxation, parking charges, fines, or any ongoing ownership expenses.
61. Vehicle ownership and use are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplying dealership and vehicle manufacturer.
