Aviva Membersite closing?
Well, after many years with Aviva, from Scania Life through Friends Provident to Aviva, on logging into today I see this message:
Over the next few weeks we'll be closing our Membersite. If you want to:
- switch funds
- redirect contributions
- research funds
you'll be able to action these within MyAviva. Please speak to your financial adviser (they may charge for their services). If you don't have one, go to MyAviva or download the MyAviva app, where you'll be able to manage your pension in one place.
You can start using MyAviva right away if you want, any questions, you can get in touch at http://contact.avivainfo.uk.
I guess they didn't feel the need to message me in person!
Let's see how much I can manage within MyAviva…
I will of course email them first: find out why they view me as such an irrelevant customer….it's not them, it's me 🤣
*sigh*
Might need to skim this to see if it is relevant:

It makes sense for them to consolidate their online services and for the message to be at the point of use, then anyone that uses the service will see it as they log in.
They may have sent an email that went to a junk folder.
It makes less sense to send out emails to people, when they may go to junk folders, be old email addresses, or be to people who probably don't actively log in and manage their account.

Quite! This approach means everyone who needs to see the information will definitely see it. Not sure why OP has taken umbrage?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
Most of these large pension providers still normally send out letters regarding any changes, as well as electronic messages. Better like that as many people do not log on regularly.

I received an email from them alerting me to the change so they are definitely being sent out. Maybe worth checking spam or that they have the correct email address
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Received an email also
Have made the move, had to upload PP

Sugest you read rule 4 of the forum rules and stop promoting your own site.

It helps if you edit out the URL so that the spam is not repeated (original post now removed due to 5+ spam reports).

Well, despite others here saying they HAVE received emails, I certainly have not, nor any post….but you're right, maybe I shouldn't take umbrage.
I used to have the ability to make changes…that fell by the wayside a year or so ago.
Maybe MyAviva will make things easier. Let's see.Plan for tomorrow, enjoy today!0 -
I hate having to use an app on my phone for anything, I would much rather access it on the website from my PC.
They will probably start trying to upsell me on their other products I'm sure.
Think first of your goal, then make it happen!1
