Morning All
Thank you for the start Gers.
We are currently away for a couple of days making use of last Christmas gift from DD. It's our wedding anniversary today so we are going out shortly to visit a castle and then out for a meal tonight.
Ruby hope you are recovering along with our other poorlies.
TA hope DFs DH shows some signs of improvement or gets some better help.
Have a good day hugs to all who want them.

Morning Gers and all to follow
I’ve had another really bad night so struggled to get up again today 😩 I’m going through a really bad sleep stage atm.
I’m off to mums today to do some work I need to change her bed and clean through the bathroom needs a good clean and I will run the hoover tound. I’ve also got some liver out of her freezer so will do her liver and bacon with mash and onions.
Dinner for us will be a crustless quiche with hm coleslaw, beetroot and new potatoes, not really the weather for it as it’s pouring with rain here but I have all the ingredients so I’m sure we will enjoy it.
Have good days all and take care xx

Overnight there was horrendous rain, it was battering at the windows for hours. Now it's bright and clear outside, hope it stays that way. My cleaner is due this morning so I've been round putting things in their right place, only the coffee table really.
The saga of the hearing aid goes on. It stopped working again on Monday. Yesterday the lovely technician had a look, gave me a new unit but, when I collected it later in the day it too wasn't working. Most odd. Anyway, we've arranged that I'll take it down to his next 'local' clinic next week. I can manage until then, lucky that I've no neighbours to annoy with loud music or TV.
Another saga is the blooming air fryer - it still hasn't turned up. I phoned the company again yesterday after my postie had been. They phoned Parcel Force and came back with a new tale of that PF don't deliver 'that far west' and have handed it over to Royal Mail. I've never heard such nonsense since I stopped teaching teenagers! Perhaps today then? I'm going back to using the big river, at least they deliver on time (usually).
Have a good day all. Hugs to poorly people, parents, children, grandchildren and assorted others. xx

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Grr RUBY as you know, I have moaned about it endlessly on here, I know how debilitating it is dealing with everything thanks to lack of sleep. I hope someone lets the Sandman out soon!
It's very dark and gloomy here this morning and we are supposed to be having heavy rain currently, but all we have had is light drizzly stuff. The the sun is due to come out at lunchtime and stay with us all afternoon, whoop whoop!
If life hadn't thought differently we would have been celebrating our 54th anniversary today but it wasn't to be. But every year DD still takes me out somewhere for lunch which is lovely of her. As she is still not driving we are a bit limited as to where we can go, so it's been narrowed down to a bus ride. We don't have an exciting selection of destinations from our bus station but have narrowed it down to the Bronte Bus to Hebden Bridge. It's a nice scenic run most of the way and then we'll have a wander of the shops and lunch somewhere. Happy anniversary to you too NRA, enjoy your day.
Well must get moving. I've just the dw to empty and then I'll be ready for off. Meeting DD on our little bus to town. She gets on at the terminus as it's nearer to her house and I get on at the next stop up which is nearer to my house. I hope neither of us misses it!
Have a lovely day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all, be safe xx

Morning everyone
TA we seem to have the same weather as you today, we've had some rain already and the sky is now black, then sunshine this afternoon….enjoy your trip out with DD.
I'm not at work today - I have shopping being delivered this morning then little lad will arrive at lunchtime so DD can go to the hairdresser. We've got little one to pick up from the swimming pool at 2 - DD asked if I could get her rather than her go back down to school for the last 45 minutes. I ordered a chicken so we'll have roast chicken and veg for tea.
I'm annoyed at myself as I fiddled on my phone rather than get straight up this morning, it's a habit I need to get out of!
Redruby I hope your mum is ok with the carers going in 3 times a day.
Gers I hope your airfryer arrives soon.
Best get on, the fridge needs a wipe before I fill it with food . Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning everyone happy anniversary NRA and TA enjoy your day .it was pouring down through the night and this morning it looks like it could be fairing up but it’s so warm 19 degrees strange weather. I’ve just got in from a cleaning job I’m going to have a cuppa little dog has been to the groomers hubby took her she smells lovely and she is nice and tidy not for long she likes been a scruffy little mutt. Gers hope you get an air fryer soon some of these companies just talk out of there backsides very odd about the hearing aid . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all, thanks for the start @Gers. Sorry to learn your hearing aid is kaput again and that you're still in limbo with the air fryer.
@newroadahead - Happy anniversary, have a lovely day.
@TravellingAbuela - Likewise; obviously it won't be the same for you but I hope you and DD enjoy your day out.
@dp1 - I think the habit I need to drop is looking at the news headlines when I have my morning cuppa; they're so depressing!
It's a damp and drizzly start to the day and right now the sky is looking grim. It may take a while to blow over as there's hardly any wind to speak of. Once again we're promised a drier afternoon but, if the sun does put in an appearance, I hope it's better than yesterday's effort that lasted all of half an hour!
Unusually for me, it took an eternity to drop off to sleep last night so I'm feeling a bit washed out (and also a bit queasy). I'll have a gentle pottering day instead of doing anything that needs oodles of energy - I'm sure I can find a drawer or two to empty/clean/declutter - and there could be a nanna nap this afternoon. 😁 Given there's plenty of choice in the freezer, tea tonight will be a fish meal. DS is going through the final stages of a job offer so his unemployed status could potentially be ending soon. It's another driving job that I hope works out better than the previous ones. There's a new lady friend on the scene too, someone he's known for a while but I won't hold my breath.
Here's wishing the sleepless a better night - I promise I'm not hogging the Sandman! As ever, hugs where needed or wanted. Take care all. xx
Be kind to others and to yourself too.7
