Barclays mortgage and Credit Conditions

We complete on Monday, with the deposit, stamp duty and all other funds already with the solicitors from our current property sale. One of the Barclays mortgage conditions is to clear our existing credit commitments within 30 days of completion. How does this work, and how do we provide Barclays with confirmation once they’re paid or do they even ask?

In my experience on three mortgages I've never had a mortgage lender follow up on clearing existing credit commitments.
Not sure specifically about Barclays though.
