MSE Forum Poll - Have you started planning for Christmas?

Believe it or not, today (16th Sep) marks 100 days until Christmas Day. For some of us that means Yuletide lists are already underway and the budget spreadsheet is out; for others, the festive season feels like a lifetime away.

Whether you're the type to have everything wrapped up by October or you'd rather not think about it until December hits, we want to know where you stand.

The sun is still shining, people still swimming in the sea, tee shirts still on sale why wish your life away.

I live in the country side so we have apple days, jam and chutney making and yes, pudding, cake and mincemeat so it can mature but still got harvest to celebrate, guy Fawkes and wassailing.

If you're buying from supermarkets then it's time to shop they hope. Easter eggs are in their stores from October and in store by 28th.

I have been known to do Christmas on 27th when everything is 75% off but too many people caught on to that so they've stopped doing it. 😉

Surely this is yet more Christmas hype way too early. It's only September and people should not be encouraged to spend money on tat.

if I ruled the world I would make any mention of xmas illegal until the first of December 😂

Only thing I like about Christmas is that the days start getting longer around 21st December and M and S/Tesco start selling daffodils at £1 a bunch first week in January (spring on its way).

Otherwise, I'd gladly ignore the whole thing

I've seen all the Christmas stock in home bargain and B&M but no way am I starting yet it way too early
