TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “ABSOLUTE RADIO – SMARTY”

– On-air and online Competition” (the “Competition”)

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition

terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also

apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific

Terms shall prevail.

1.ENTRY ROUTES

AND COSTS Entries to both the on-air and online competition are restricted to [one entry] per person.

ENTRY FOR THE ON-AIR COMPETITION

The on-air competition will take place on the following radio station from Monday 21/09/26 and then every

day until Friday 25/09/26:

• Absolute Radio (Hometime with Bush & Richie 16:00-19:00)

Entry to the on-air competition is available by calling the Absolute Radio Studio Number: 0330 123 12 15 at

the time indicated by the on-sit presenter(s).

If you have not dialled the valid number, you will not be entered into the competition.

Calls will be charged at your standard network rate.

Entrants must call during the Entry Periods of the competition.

The on-air presenter will indicate when the phone lines are open and when they are closed.

Any entries received outside of the Entry Periods will not be entered but may still be charged.

Bauer Media and Absolute Radio are not responsible for any latency experience or technical fault caused

by your telephone or mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your entry via phone.

2.COMPETITION

HOW TO WIN

ON AIR COMPETITION

There will be 5 (five) winners of the competition in total . These winners will get the prize outlined in section

5.

The on-air competition will be executed on Absolute Radio Hometime with Bush & Richie on the dates and

at the times outlined in section 3.

• Each day the presenter(s) will use an online random number generator to choose 3 x single

numerical digits. These will be announced on air and if all 3 numbers appear in the 11 digits of your

UK phone number (beginning 07), then you are invited to call in to take part in the competition.

• On air the presenters will announce when the phone lines are open for entry to the competition.

They will also announce when the phone lines are closed for entry.

• Each day during the competition period, the show producer will select 1 (one) caller at random to

goon air and play (checking that their phone number includes the 3 x numerical digits called out by

the presenters that day).

• Once on air, the caller will be asked 1 (one) general knowledge question. If they answer incorrectly

they win nothing and the game for that day ends. If they get the answer right, they win £1,000 cash

andwill be given the chance to answer a second question. If they get the second question wrong,

they will win the £1,000 from the first question and the game ends. If they get the second question

correct, they win an additional £1,000, meaning they have a total of £2,000 and the game ends.

• The Absolute Radio production team reserves the right to pre-record any part of this competition

with contestants before the ' broadcast, and play it out ‘as live’.

5. THE PRIZE • Having your call answered by the Absolute Radio production team does not guarantee you will be

invited to play the game or win the prize.

• All final decisions on the game will rest with the Absolute Radio production team.

• Entrants and callers to this competition must have a UK registered phone beginning with the digits

07 and cannot withhold their phone number on entry. If they do so, they will be automatically be

eliminated from playing the competition.

• The international dialling code ie +44 +44' does not count as part of your phone number for this

competition, should the number '4' be randomly selected.

ONLINE COMPETITION

Online: There will be 1 (one) winner in total of the competition. All entries will be pooled together and on

Monday 05/10/26 and 1 (one) entry will be selected by electronic random draw.

Once at the online entry page, entrants will need to ‘spin the wheel’ to be in with a chance of winning. If

their spin is successful they will be notified on the page. This will then allow the entrant to input their

details at the entry point on the page and they will be submitted into the pool of entries.

Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown will be announced on air by the presenter.

ONLINE COMPETITION ENTRY PERIOD

Online entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

From Wednesday 16/09/26 at 00:01 (the “Start Time”) to Sunday 04/10/26 at 23:59 (the “End Time”).

Entries received before the “Start Time” or after the “End Time” will be invalid.

Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown will be made available on request.

Open to UK residents, aged 18 years or over on date of entry. One entry per person.

Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition,

including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility

criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any

stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these

Terms.

Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any

Bauer Radio brand, they or anyone living at the winning address will not be eligible to win this competition.

If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be

ON-AIR COMPETITON PRIZE

winner will win the following prize (the “Prize”):

There will be 1 (one) winner of this online competition who will win the following prize (the “Prize”):

- £1000 cash

This cash will be paid by BACS transfer to a UK bank account. Proof of identification and address will need

checked against the Bauer Winner Database and only once they pass the criteria, they will be deemed the

OTHER PRIZE TS&CS FOR ON AIR & ONLINE COMPETITION

Bauer Media Group will aim to send the prizes to the winner within 28 working days from the date they

pass winner checks as mentioned above. However, there may be a delay due to potential unforeseen

circumstances and therefore deliveries may take longer. Bauer Media Group will make necessary

attempts to keep the winner up to date with details of any delays and when the winner can expect the

prize. Bauer Media Group has the right to redraw another winner, if the Entrant selected does not respond

within 7 days of initial contact, and continue to do so until a winner is found.

The prize provider is Bauer Media. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be

on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that

we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these

films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or

for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

3. MISCELLANEOUS.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted

and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with,

these Terms.

• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our

answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute

about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer,

however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your

tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any

SMS or phone call entry route.

• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering

the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.

3• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so

we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also

disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving,

intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.

• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any

element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to

facilitate the administration of the Competition.
