Buying Blackout, thermal curtains

I'm trying to replace my old worn out bedroom curtains. I need a pair to keep warm in winter and heat out in summer. My window measures 70" wide and my current pencil pleat curtains are 48" drop. I don't remember alterations. Now when I look standard drop seems to be 54" which is too long and would cover radiator. Don't want alterations expenses and can't do myself. Any advice? Thank you.
