Credit Cards and pay off early - advice needed if possible

Just one other comment, it’s interesting the mindset shift that I have been on the last few years. Clearing the debt has been a razor focussed mission that I’ve really jumped into with real vigour. Studying to improve myself / go promotion hunting and working all hours took me away from the temptation of shopping or otherwise spending money such as big nights out. Then comes the realisation that you don’t need that new pair of jeans or a new car. Who am I showing off to? Nobody cares. Now at last earning really good money with my debt free date firmly in sight I take great joy in wearing £5 tracksuit bottoms from Tesco and laugh at the brand new bmw owners in the car park on the way out. You can do it, it just takes a light bulb moment.

One more thing. You mention the fridge freezer and things like that. It may not be a good idea to attack those loans first as the interest might be a heck of a lot less than your credit cards, but talking from a mental perspective it feels good to get rid of a debt and then enables your to reassign that money to other debts to take bigger chunks off it. Again, depends on what interest rates you’re talking as your credit cards are scandalous.
