Dyson Toothbrush
I saw a few news articles about this newly released product yesterday. I've written to them asking for a 'trial' with one, but don't hold out much hope of being sent one.
From looking at the pictures and write-ups, my initial thoughts are
Plus – I’m a bit of a fan of Dyson products. I find them well designed as a rule. Camera idea is interesting.
Minus – Expensive,
Sonic action isn’t my favourite,
Looks very bulky and unwieldy,
Intergrated waterflosser, and I’m not a fan of waterflossers (although conceed they’re better than doing nothing)
Uses both toothpaste & mouthwash (and Dyson supply a ‘recommended’ one to go with it!) I’m not a mouthwash fan.
Unless they send me one - I'd still stick with my Oral B iO. If I do get my hands on one, I'll let you know what I think after trying it. I'm not splashing £420 of my own money on it though.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Well, I use Phillips electric toothbrush with sonic function, Sensodyne Repair and Protect, Tepe mini brush thing, plus Listerine mouthwash.
As my Dentist pointed out at last week's check up, it is 13 years since I last had any treatment and he even advised I didn't need a clean while I was there.
Think I'll stick with the current routine.

Their own toothpaste is really about it being non-foaming so it doesnt block the camera which both live streams and identifies the gaps for the water floss plus it appears they have more than one varient of each.
If you think the bulk of the toothbrush is bad, the dock is even worse but its again a case of it self filling so part of the volume is going to be the reservoir of mouthwash. Ive come to terms with similar on our dishwasher and washing machine but they dont impact the size of the applicance, im sure I could fill the toothbrush myself and would prefer a smaller dock given finite room in the bathroom

That price is so excessive for bits of plastic put together🤣

If someone has a routine working for them - then I'm always loath to change anything they're doing.
I'd be willing to bet you could ditch the Listerine without anyone noticing any deterioration in your oral health though 😀

only if talking about the concessions rate surely?
Plus inevitably it'll be a legitimate business spend to go through the accounts so they can know fi they can really recommend it to their customers or not.
