Stepchange help
Hi everyone,
I have a couple of questions before finalising my dmp with Stepchange.
I have now had 2 of 6 accounts default. Do I still continue to not pay until they all have?
Also I have a joint account with my ex that joint bills come out of. Do I need to get rid of this? Existing mortgage comes out of this account and it is with Barclays and has a £3000 overdraft.
The mortgage is due to renew in January. He will be staying on the mortgage even though he no longer lives here as I will not be able to afford this on my own if he comes off of it. Will we still be able to renew ok?
My main bank is with Santander and has a £500 overdraft. Do I need to clear this and move bank?
sorry for all the questions, just very nervous about moving forward with worry about the house now separated and how this will affect myself and my daughters going forward 😞

Mortgage will just be able to move onto new fix with current provider no problem. I’ve just done it and did it all online

Never bank where you owe money, is the standard advice when entering debt management.
The bank has the right of "set off" against any funds you may hold in your own name, in any other bank account within that banking group.
If you don`t owe them money than its fine to keep using it.
