Carabao Thailand Experience Competition Terms and Conditions

• Promoter: Football League Limited (The), EFL House, 10 - 12 West Cliff, Preston, Lancashire, England, PR1 8HU (EFL)

 

• Eligibility: Entry to the Promotion is limited to one per person and is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the EFL and its affiliate companies (including without limitation EFL In The Community), agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

 

• Promotional Period: entries to the Promotion shall open at 10:00 (UK Time) on 24th August 2026 (Opening Time) and shall close at 23:59 (UK Time) on 21st September 2026 (Closing Time). Following the end of the Promotional Period, no other entries will be permitted.

 

• Entry Instructions: all entrants must provide all information requested on the entry form hosted [https://www.efl.com/news/2026/august/24/win-a-trip-to-thailand-with-carabao/] during the Promotional Period (Entry Route) to be entered into a prize draw (Prize Draw). All entrants who complete the Entry Route will be entered into the Prize Draw. Entry is free entry via the Entry Route set out above. Those who complete the Entry Route will receive one entry into the Prize Draw. In respect of the Entry Route, we will not accept:

                                                                            

• entries submitted after the relevant Promotional Period;
• entries that are only partially completed; or
• entries sent in through agents, other websites or through any means which intends to deceive or manipulate fair process such as through any automated or ‘bot’ entry process or through the creation of multiple accounts.

 

Each entrant may only complete the Entry Route once (i.e. one entry to both per person). The EFL has the right to disqualify any entry by an individual where that individual has made multiple entries into the Entry Route where any entry made does not comply with these terms and conditions.

 

• Prizes: the Winner of the Prize Draw shall win a ‘Carabao Experience’ to Bangkok, Thailand for them and one (1) guest of their choosing for eight (8) days and seven (7) nights to be held between 4th January 2027 to 11thJanuary 2027 (such dates may be subject to the availability of the flights) which will include the following:
  • Direct return flights from London Heathrow Airport or Manchester Airport (subject to the Winners choice) to Bangkok Airport for two (2);
  • Double or twin room at the Hilton Bangkok Grande Asoke for two (2) in Bangkok for seven (7) night;
  • Meet & greet with a Carabao Cup Legend (Such Carabao Cup Legend to be confirmed closer to the Carabao Experience taking place); and
  • A tour around the Carabao factory.

 

• Winner Selection: all successful/valid entries who complete the Entry Route before the end of the Promotional Period will be entered into the Prize Draw which shall take place after the end of the Promotional Period. The EFL shall draw one (1) name using the randomized computer process from all of those who have successfully entered the Prize Draw and that person shall be deemed the winner (Winner) and the Prize will be allocated to the Winner.

 

• A member of the EFL’s verification team or a nominated third party (on behalf of the EFL) will get in touch with the each of the Winner via email in order to verify their age, identity and collect their address details (which you acknowledge may be used to deliver the Prize you have won) within a reasonable time of the Prize Draw being completed (no later than 7 days after the Prize Draw). The Winner must provide their (and their guest’s) name, date of birth, email address, home address (including post code) and supporting team. Should the Winner fail to respond to the EFL’s (as the case may be) notification within 36 hours of receipt, the EFL will be deemed to have forfeited its Prize and the EFL shall select an alternative winner using the same process as was used to select the original Winner.

 

• Entrance into the Prize Draw will be deemed to constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

 

• The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The EFL reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes (or any part of the Prizes) for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original Prize (or the part of the Prize replaced), in the event of circumstances outside its control making the Prize unavailable (Right Of Substitution). The Prizes may be subject to availability and change where expressly stated.

 

• The Winner and their guest will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel; any necessary visas or travel insurance are the responsibility of the Winner and their guest. In the event the Winner or their guest is/are unable to travel due to visa or other personal circumstances, no alternative tickets will be issued, and no compensation or other prize will be provided.

 

• The Prize will be forfeited if:
  • the Winner has not obtained all of the proper travel documents by the date specified by the EFL;
  • the Winner has any immigration complications which prevent them from entering, leaving or travelling within the pre-booked period;
  • the Winner is unwilling to attend any of the Prizes specified above; or
  • the Winner has any medical, legal or any other reason that would prevent you from accepting and participating in the Prize.

 

• Once tickets have been issued, they are only valid for flights, dates and times shown. No alternatives are available. Name changes to the flight once confirmed are not permitted.

 

• The Winner and their guest must travel together in both directions.

 

• The Winner and their guests must abide by and are subject to the Airline’s published Conditions of Carriage.

 

• Lounge passes and upgrades are not permitted; Flights cannot be used in conjunction with the any loyalty programme, any other discount, discount coupon(s) or voucher(s), promotion(s) or special offer.

 

• Flight extras are not included in the Prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, on-board meals and drinks).

 

 

• It is the Winner’s and their guest’s responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken.

 

• The Winner must inform the EFL of any wheelchair or any similar access needs.

 

• The Winner must inform the EFL of any dietary requirements or allergens 2 weeks prior to receiving the Prize.

 

• A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to your rooms and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in room calls or services.

 

• The Winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.

 

• It is the responsibility of the Winner and any guests to check any travel advisories issued by a Government, to determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the destination. The EFL will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any Winner or their guest arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories issued by a Government. The Winner and their guest must comply with and are responsible for obtaining all information regarding any recommended inoculation and obtaining the inoculation(s) and health regulations required by any Prize destination country.

 

• If the Prize falls within school term time and any of the guests are still in school, the Winner must provide (for each of the guests who are still at school) the EFL with proof that their school(s) have agreed to allow them to attend the event. The guests’ School(s) must send a formal email or letter to the EFL stating that they agree to allow the guest to take up the Prize. The letter or email must be received by the EFL within one week of request. Failure to provide this information may result in the Winner and/or guests forfeiting their Prize.

 

• For the avoidance of doubt, the Prizes do not include transportation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the EFL nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.

 

• The EFL will be notified of the identity of the Winner and their guest(s), and databases will be checked against any Club Banning Orders, as well as the National Police Database for those who may be subject to a Court Banning Order. If the Winner’s guest(s) is subject to a club banning order or court banning order, the Winner will need to identify a different guest(s) to use this part of the Prize.

 

• Your entry (including winning entries) may be disqualified if we have good reason to believe you have broken these terms and conditions or if you or your selected guest acts in a way towards the EFL, , any of the EFL’s commercial partners, any other person entering the draw or EFL or EFL Club staff, which we reasonably consider to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If any winning entry is disqualified we may redraw any Prize and award it to another person following the same process set out in these terms.
  
  
• Any personal data relating to entrants will be kept securely and used solely for the purposes of administering this promotion in accordance with the provisions set out within these terms and/or Prize fulfillment by the EFL and/or by any agent of the EFL appointed to assist with running the promotion or administering the Prize (including any Club (where necessary)). The EFL will not otherwise use winners’ personal details for reasons other than the above, unless lawfully permitted to do so. Further information about the EFL’s use of personal data generally can be found in the EFL privacy notice at  https://www.efl.com/efl-privacy-notice/ . Use of your personal information will not include sending you electronic marketing communications unless you have opted in to receive such communications (and you are free to unsubscribe from these communications at any time in the future). Note - you must bring this privacy notice to the attention of any guest(s) you may nominate and you agree that you will do this prior to providing any personal information of your guests to the EFL.

 

• If a Winner and/or their guest(s) has any special accessibility requirements in order to use the Prize, the Winner will need to make the EFL aware of this as soon as the Winner has won the Prize.

 

• Insofar as permitted by law, the EFL, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize (except for personal injury or death caused by the negligence of the EFL, its agents or distributors). Your statutory rights are not affected. The EFL is not liable for any business losses incurred by entrants.

 

• The Winner may be asked to have photographs taken or participate in filming, editorials for press or promotion purposes of the EFL, and/or their group companies. These together with the Winner’s name may be published.

 

• Under no circumstances can any Prize be transferred to a third party of sold for any financial amount.

• These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the Winner agrees that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of these terms and conditions.
