Good morning Ruby, lovely photo, great view.
It's raining, looks like it will be for the next few days, hopefully the grass will be green again.
Yesterday I went with DH to the next town where there's a shopping centre. He was going to Screw fix so I had a wander around b and em. Thought I would find so much in there but came away with just a new hairbrush and some marinades for meat. Is that the mse in me not spending money on unnecessary things?
No plans for today except dodging the rain with big dog. Last night we had sausages and mash, will have a rummage in the freezer for tonight.
TA, hope everything goes well for your daughter, sending hugs
Camelot, good luck at the meeting, hope you get the result you want.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all - great photo and thanks for the start @RedRuby1231.
It's a bit greyer outside today, rain due later. Yesterday I phoned the surgery for an appointment with the practice nurse as my right ear is still muffled, dull and keeps on popping and crackling. The nurse thinks I have a perforated eardrum which is not healing so has referred me to audiology for them to do a proper look. The annoying thing is that there was an audiology clinic running in the surgery - they only come up once every couple of months. Hey, ho… it's not life-threatening so will be patient.
I visited the friends of friends in the late afternoon, we had cake and chat so very pleasant. Today I will really have to settle down to the tax thing, I made a start the other day but it needs banged out.
There's so much sad news around, take care all and hugs to those who can use one or two. xx

Morning folks and thanks RUBY. Gorgeous view. CAMELOT fingers crossed all goes the way you want it to.
The promised thunderstorms haven't got to us yet but they say they will arrive this evening.
Thanks for all the good wishes for DD. She had a phone call from our local hospital yesterday morning and her appointment is the 8th Sept. All this waiting worries me but they have said it won't grow any more in the meantime. But how do they know this? When my BFF was diagnosed it all seemed to move a lot quicker than this, but I suppose grade 4 get priority, whereas DD's is still very small.
I had a nice meet up with DF yesterday. We enjoyed a lovely lunch (and a couple of glasses of vino) and shared all our worries and woes. Today is a stay home day so a day of same old same old here. First job is to fill my dossett boxes. A tedious job but has to be done. A piece of smoked haddock already out defrosting for dinner. I love most fish but smoked haddock is my favourite. I just wish the smell afterwards wouldn't linger for so long!
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all x

Lovely pic Ruby. What a view!
The threatened thunderstorms never arrived but the ground is wet so we must have had a sprinkling of rain instead. Temperature is quite warm and humid this morning too.
Just done some housework and bathroom cleaning upstairs and am now waiting for a delivery of chicken and minced beef from an online butchers shop that DS recommended. They only charged £1 for delivery which I was pleased with.
Nothing else planned for today so I'll wish you all a good one x
