    sorry

my finance company toyota was billing me for a balloon appointment. I wanted to re finance with them. So they have asked for bank statements so I can refinance for 3 more years

I’d probably provide them if you’re comfortable, especially if you’ve had the finance for 3 years and want the review to go smoothly. You could ask exactly what they need the statements for and whether you can redact any unrelated transactions.

Might be cheaper to get a bank loan and pay the balloon payment off with that. I did that a few years ago.

What is the APR on offer?

Compare that with what you can get elsewhere.

I think they will want to see the one that your wages are paid into.

Either provide the data they want to ensure you can afford it or they won't give you the finance so arrange it elsewhere or use the money you put aside to pay the balloon when you took out the finance and repay yourself using the money saved from more finance

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

As they won't offer you the finance without them you have little choice. (Other than to go elsewhere)
