Morning folks. Thank you SCARLET and all to follow. Back to my sleepless nights again after a short run of better sleeps. Grr. Probably thanks to worrying about everything that's going on.
DP1 life isn't fair is it for your little DGD. She's had so much to contend with and now the casts which sound very uncomfortable. REDRUBY, poor big dog deprived of long walks. It's such a shame they don't understand that it's for their own good.
Apparently we may (or may not!) get some light rain today. Like everyone else we need more than light stuff. Fingers crossed.
Sainsbobs this morning. We'll get there for browsing time and hope everyone else doesn't have the same idea! After that who knows, maybe I'll get a better offer but doubt it.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all, be safe x

Good morning
Cloudy here and a lot cooler, it's 13degs at present and set to rise to "only" 23.
I'm another one who's off to early morning shopping, or as I call it The Sunday morning club. I'll leave just gone 9 and will be back before 10.30. Mainly fruit and salad needed.
Dp1, so sorry for your little one, but she sounds as though she will cope. I know as with my dgd they don't like being different.
Redruby, poor big dog, their long walks are the thing they enjoy, big hugs for him.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all and thanks to @ScarletRibbons for the start. It's very misty, grey and rainy here, situation back to normal then. Last night I got my full quota of eight hours of sleep, an improvement from the previous one.
As predicted, the size 14 trousers didn't fit, well, I got them on but only because they are loose linen ones so plenty of room. Not for me though so both are going back. My other order of Scamp &D jeans (still size 16) arrived, they are a good fit so are staying.
This morning I am invited for a bacon roll and cup of tea with people I haven't seen for about 10 months, mostly down to me being such an anti-social git! Before I got there I'll drive down to the Sunday bakery and pick up a couple of tasty cakes for them.
Our nearest EE mast has been dodgy for weeks, internet keeps dropping and then reconnecting at the most inconvenient times. It was supposedly finally repaired on Friday then it's broken again. On Friday I made my third call of complaint to them and was 'rewarded' by a credit for a months payment. Very good though I'd prefer that my internet doesn't disappear in the middle of a financial transaction.
Oh dear @dp1 - what a shame for your little one. She's been through so much for all her life, with a bit of luck this last hurdle will finally see her becoming the same as the other little girls and she'll feel better about herself.
Hugs to all. I hope that Sunday brings some respite from heat and woes. xx

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, hope the shopping goes smoothly.
It was quite warm and sunny yesterday but it's raining this morning, we don't really need it now! Picked 2 bags of green beans yesterday from the allotments along with some onions and courgettes, also dug some more potatoes. Everything has been shared out between myself, DD and the neighbours so there won't be any waste.
DD stayed last night and slept for 10 hours in her own bed (it's a miracle!) so we're both feeling refreshed this morning.
Sorry the big dog has spinal problems Ruby, what a shame.
Must dash, shopping to do and games to play! Take care. XX

Morning all. Much cooler this morning, thank goodness. I slept well last night and didn't wake up until 8am, which is unlike me.
Off down to see DS and family this morning. The Florentines I made ended up in the fridge, as the chocolate wouldn't set, but I'm sure they will taste fine.
Happy Sunday everyone.

Morning all
It’s a bit overcast here this morning but still warm, I have the bedding in the wash so will hang that out once it’s finished.
Thanks for the good wishes for big dog it’s such a shame bless her it’s really affecting her movements such as walking up or down the stairs she is really struggling it’s so sad as she was such an active playful dog.
Bbq for dinner tonight a rinse and repeat of last night really. We also have some more eBay items finishing tonight so there is that excitement to look forward to.
I must do some packing today, this time next week we will be on the first island for a few hours before catching the ferry to our island, we will have time for a walk around the shops and some lunch before the ferry.
DP1 poor little one hopefully the time will go quickly for her xx
Have good days all and take care xx

My it's a chily one this morning - quite a shock to the system!
Just about to finish cutting the hedges, started weeks ago but delayed by heat, hopsitals and tennis elbow (still there but the sight of the hedges is irritating more than the pain in my elbow). Will have to look out for the District nurses and none of them seem to be able to find the house!
Best wishes to all
