Master Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

The Promoter of this prize draw is Wanderlust Travel Media Ltd (“Wanderlust” or “the Promoter”) of 3 Coldbath Square, London, EC1R 5HL, United Kingdom.

The Prize Providers are: G Adventures, HX Expeditions, Club Med, YellowWood Adventures, Cox & Kings, Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board, Qatar Airways, Abercrombie & Kent, Tropical Sky, Explore Worldwide and New Scientist Discovery Tours.

There are eleven (11) prizes and eleven (11) winners. Each winner receives one of the prizes listed below. Each prize is subject to both these Master Terms and the relevant Prize Provider’s individual terms (set out separately). Where the two conflict, the Prize Provider’s terms govern that prize.

The combined value of the eleven prizes is approximately £80,219 (over £80,000 / approximately US$107,000).

Entry period

• Opens: 1 July 2026 00:00
• Closes: 27 October 2026 at 23:59 (UK time).

Eligibility and how to enter

1. Entry is free; no purchase is necessary. The prize draw is open to entrants aged 18 or over with some prizes open to select residents only.
2. To be eligible you must, at the time of entry, follow @wanderlustmag on Instagram or Wanderlust Travel Magazine on Facebook , and remain following for the duration of the prize draw. Where an entrant does not have a social media account, this requirement shall not apply, provided they are an active Wanderlust subscriber at the time of entry and remain subscribed for the duration of the prize draw.
3. Entries must be submitted online via the official competition entry page using the specified entry mechanism. Only entries submitted in this way are valid.
4. One standard entry per person (see Enhanced entry below for how to increase your chances).
5. Qatar Airways prize only: in addition to the above, entrants wishing to be eligible for the Qatar Airways prize must also meet Qatar Airways’ separate sponsor requirements set out in that prize’s individual terms.
6. Entries that are late, lost, incomplete, or missing any mandatory field cannot be accepted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received for reasons outside its reasonable control.
7. Employees of the Promoter or any Prize Provider, and members of their immediate families, are not eligible.
8. Fraudulent, multiple, automated or spam entries, and any use of bots, cheats, hacks or other means to circumvent the entry mechanism, will be disqualified at the Promoter’s or relevant Prize Provider’s discretion. Offensive entries will be disqualified, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Enhanced entry: quadruple your chances (video)

1. During the entry period, active Wanderlust magazine subscribers and active Wanderlust newsletter subscribers may increase their chances of winning by submitting a short video. Newsletter subscription is free and open to anyone and grants exactly the same enhanced entry as magazine subscription; no purchase is necessary to qualify.
2. To take part, email a video to info@wanderlustmagazine.com telling us how Wanderlust inspires you (for example, a destination you have visited or plan to visit because of Wanderlust, or a trip you have booked with a tour operator, airline, hotel or travel partner featured in Wanderlust). In your email, include your name and either the email address linked to your subscription or your magazine subscriber number, so that we can verify your entry.
3. To qualify, you must also have cast a valid vote in the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2026. We will validate your submission against your awards vote and your subscription status.
4. Where your submission is validated, your entry will be counted four (4) times in the random prize draw (i.e. triple the standard chance of being selected). This affects the number of entries only; it does not change your eligibility for any individual prize, which remains subject to these terms and the relevant Prize Provider’s terms.
5. The enhanced entry is limited to one (1) per person, regardless of how many videos are submitted. Videos must be received by the closing date and time stated above (27 October 2026, 23:59 UK time).
6. This is a prize draw, not a competition of skill or merit. Video content, quality or creativity has no bearing on the outcome, which is determined at random.
7. By submitting a video you grant Wanderlust a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit and publish the video and your name across Wanderlust’s channels (print, website, email and social media) for purposes connected with the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2026 and its promotion. You confirm that you are the person featured, that you are the sole contributor, and that you have the right to grant this licence. Please do not include other identifiable people, or third-party music or content, without permission.
8. Personal data and video content submitted will be processed in accordance with Wanderlust’s privacy policy and used only to administer and promote this prize draw unless you consent otherwise.

Winner selection and notification

1. Winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received by the closing date. If a winner is selected for a prize which, as a resident, they are not eligible to win, a new winner will be selected at random.
2. The Promoter will contact each winner using the details supplied at entry within a defined window of the closing date, and all winners will be announced by 31 December 2026.
3. If a winner does not respond within 14 business days of the first notification, or provides incorrect contact details, they forfeit the prize and an alternative winner may be drawn. A forfeiting winner has no further claim to any part of the prize.
4. If a notification email is returned undeliverable, the prize is forfeited and an alternative winner will be drawn from remaining eligible entries.
5. If selected, you will be asked to provide your Instagram handle or Facebook name for eligibility checks. If eligibility fails, a new winner will be selected at random.
6. The Promoter and Prize Providers may publish winners’ names on social media and other media, and may ask winners to take part in reasonable post-event publicity.

Prizes — general

1. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable, with no cash alternative, except where stated in a Prize Provider’s individual terms or required by law.
2. Each prize must be taken in accordance with the relevant Prize Provider’s individual terms. No compensation is payable if a winner cannot use a prize as stated, and if a prize is not claimed by its stated deadline it is forfeited.
3. Winners are solely responsible for declaring any prize to HMRC or relevant tax authorities and for any resulting tax liability. Independent financial advice should be sought.
4. Each prize is subject to availability. If any element becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the relevant party’s reasonable control, a substitute of equal or greater value may be offered.

International entrants

Wanderlust is based in the UK and the draw is delivered under UK law. Entrants resident outside the UK accept that the Promoter and Prize Providers are not liable for additional costs or issues arising from non-UK residency, including (without limitation) non-UK taxes on prizes, additional travel to a UK or other specified departure point, exchange-rate differences, or visa requirements for transit. Several prizes specify a fixed departure point (e.g. the UK); review each prize’s individual terms.

Liability

The Promoter, Prize Providers and any associated third party accept no liability for loss, expense or damage suffered in connection with this promotion or a winner’s enjoyment of a prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence), which is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

Changes, cancellation and circumstances beyond control

The Promoter and Prize Providers may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, without notice, in the event of war, terrorism, emergency, disaster, technical failure (including viruses, tampering or unauthorised intervention), or any other circumstance beyond their reasonable control that affects the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the promotion, or where travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice. They may disqualify anyone in breach of these terms, and reserve all legal rights to recover damages from such persons. They are not responsible for technical malfunctions of networks, systems, servers, software or internet connectivity affecting participation.

Governing law

These Master Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Note: the Qatar Airways prize is governed by its own terms under the laws of the State of Qatar; that prize’s individual terms set out the relationship and any consumer-law carve-outs.
