Yeah credit cards are ok to be paid by standing order but loans need to be DD, but I'll just setup anyway and see if it's accepted, I can't see them declining either.

Positive news my old bank account is now out of its overdraft and in positive balance so I'm going to personally update my budget on stepchange website when I finish and remove it from the DMP, regardless of what they say if I can

Look don't say ' if they accept it' You decide what you pay and they will never reject a payment, they know if you are on the ball it is either what you pay or nothing.

Always remember you are in charge not your creditors. Don't contact them by phone and ask for communication in writing.

If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

If you wait for accounts to default, then you bypass all these other sideshows and issues surrounding creditor re-payment plans.

Debt collectors only care about one thing, money, and they are not bothered how you pay them.

Cheers guys, again. New to it all and learning as im going along, yeah I'm getting the vibe they'll accept payments regardless of amount. Pretty much everything is done now so just waiting in the start date tbh. I'm in such a better place mentally sorting it all over the weekend and following your guys advice. Thanks again.
