My Dentist told me to put some clove oil onto cotton wool and bite on the cotton wool and it did help to take pain away.0 -

you can get a gel called Orajel from chemists which can really help to numb the pain (but only for a short while). It's about £4/£5.
Hope you get it sorted soon as toothache is miserable

Have you contacted an actual dentist yet? Can you not get your appointment brought forwards?How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
