Fridge Freezer

Hello. Looking to replace our old fridge freezer. There are a few things irreparable. due to its age. We liked one in Argos but they have just increased the price from £314 to £349. Looking for 4 drawers fridge and freezer. Need old one collected in price. Most price efficient advice please

You want the fridge to have 4 draws rather than the more usual shelves/veg draw?

Free standing. Ok with veg drawer but extra shelf is what I mean. Can be taller as no cupboard above. Thanks.

2 years old, working well - circulates cold air rather than having cold panels/shelves so no frost or de-icing required.

Actually bought from AppliancesDirect, charged £15 for next-day delivery* and the same for removing dead FF.

• refunded when they buggered up the delivery

You have not said what is wrong with the current FF but depending on the condition of the FF you could try and sell the drawers on an auction site for a few quid.

Have a look at sold prices and even the doors maybe able to make money.

As a for taking away the old one ,I am not mansplaining but make sure it's totally defrosted and free of water before collection as a neighbour of mine had had her freezer not taken away as it wasn't totally defrosted.

The delivery people arranged a day early and then she realised she had food left in it and turned it off a 5am but still not defrosted fully.
