Morrisons rejected substitutes

Hi. Have any Morrisons online shoppers experienced rejected substitutes showing as accepted on their online orders?

I've realised today it's happened at least 3 times to me so far this year including yesterday.

The emailed receipt shows it as 'changes to your order' but doesn't say accepted and the item doesn't appear in the breakdown list of items being charged further down the email.

I never usually check the order online after delivery but I did today to discover this error and the other past 'accepted' substitutions.

I don't know if this is poor driver training or a system error but it's worrying to think how many others this could be happening to as well.

Lesson learned - I'll check the order online after delivery from now on.

I don't know if it's just Morrisons.

I was speaking to someone yesterday who was fed up with online shopping because of the substitutions and hassle of returning and trying to get the record straight and that wasn't for food.

We use Ocado, substitutions and missing items are very unusual.

I called Morrisons and they're processing refunds. She said it will also be escalated to ensure drivers are processing returns properly but who knows.

To be fair, I don't get that many substitutions with Morrisons. Asda was horrendous for them! Tesco weren't too bad but I moved away from them when they increased the minimum order value to £40 and I got fed up of having to order alcohol or blu rays I didn't want only to give them back to the driver. :D
