good spot:
if the OP dropped to half pay as little as 20 months ago and has now "run out" (whatever that entails) again - then I would definitely be involving union and fully understanding the policy and any possible routes the trust and the OP may take

possibly not an option as the OP doesnt appear to be in the pension scheme (according to a 2025 post they made)

What do you mean by that comment?

Some employers may be quite “forgiving” over a run of bad health issues requiring sickness absence when in a short/medium time scale.
However, when there appears to be a longer term pattern, that can be terribly disruptive- especially when staffing/rotas need changing to fill in gaps.
As already suggested - get a copy of the trust sickness/absence policy, give it a good read and make sure you understand the different stages and actions.
Essential (imo) that you involve the union.

Simply that you seem to have had a substantial amount of time off the previous year as well. It is not a judgement, it is a statement of fact.
And if the absences are for health the employer may take that into account - you had advice previously about getting occupational health etc involved.did that happen?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have not could of.0
