Chiltern -Debt Management

About a year ago I contacted Chiltern who helped stop all those awful phone calls from credit cards which I cannot pay. Although I must admit they have been really helpful - they do charge 17% of the payment that I make which is £175 a month. Things have moved on and I now live with my new partner and we are getting married in March. What should I do about Chiltern - all the interest on my debts are frozen and to be honest I cant afford to pay them any more each month but am scared that if they find out that i have a new partner my old debts may want more each month. Also should I contact one of the free debt services and save the monthly fee or will they say that my partner should be helping me pay off my debts? trying really hard to reduce all my outgoings and have sent off the letters regarding unfair credit card charges (awaiting replies).
Any ideas or advice would be great........

Dump Chiltern and go with the free ones. Why pay them to do something when someone will do it just as well for free.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

Hi
we were with chiltern, and realised that the fee we were paying them could be used towards are debt so we left chiltern and i contacted all our creditors myself, and explained that we have decided to deal direct they were very helpfull all they ask for is your expediture and outgoings, just send them yours they don't need to know about your partner because the debt belongs to you not your partner.
Give it ago also they want a list of all your creditors and how much you pay them.
And this is what we do the amount of money we were paying chiltern i used it to pay one creditor that each month so that finished first then i moved on to the next one (if you understand what i mean ) good luck keep us informed0
