Are you ReAssured?
This letter received from ReAssure following two online messages asking them to stop sending multiple copies of quarterly retirement account statements through the post:-
We apologise that you have been receiving multiple statements.
This is an automatic statement and we are unable to stop one without stopping both.
We are aware of the this system error and we are currently working on correcting this.
Until this has been corrected we are unable to stop statements being sent as this would create more errors.
I wonder if the IT Crowd suggested switching the computer off and on again?
I can't help thinking of '2001: A Space Odyssey':-
Hal: "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
Perhaps they have a HAL 9000 computer?
I am not very ReAssured.

Just one copy of the apology?

Perhaps the letter was AI generated?
BBC News today:-
OpenAI says its AI went rogue and launched 'unprecedented' cyber-attack0 -
It didn't go rogue. Some humans made the mistake of turning off guardrails in a sandbox environment that was not locked down properly, and gave the AI access to other computer envirnments/systems it was not meant to access.
But that doesn't make headlines/get as many clicks for the AI provider or the media outlets that report it.
It's like putting a prisoner in a jail with no walls and saying they went rogue when they walked out.
