Morning, thanks Gers, glad your pre op went well.
Sorry to read that the Dr you saw was so dismissive Dp1, how unhelpful.
Ruby, you can only try out your new venture, I hope it works for you, you're very enterprising.
Hope mum is feeling better this morning Allie.
TA, I'm starting to see a difference in my freezer since I made a real effort to get the contents down, what a time it's taken though.
SuffolkSue, a 15 month wait! Too long isn't it.
Coxy, what a lovely kitten, I'm envious.
It's not a bad morning here, I've got some washing in which I think will dry outside.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

The early morning mist is beginning to burn off, the swallows are zooming around and all is quiet. A good morning indeed.
No news (good news) so won't linger. My cleaner is coming in about an hour or so which will be my cue to go out whilst he's here.
Take care all - xx

DM had a better day, thank you all. Practise nurse appt today. Bdog managed to hurt his leg so he’s on another rest day (nothing serious, just some over enthusiastic ball chasing and a refusal to use the steps from the lawn to the patio!)
I managed some gardening and craft work yesterday but must try and catch up with some chores today!
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning folks and thanks GERS. I'm pleased all went well with your appointments. No sun this morning and none is forecast but still warm at 23 deg. I'll settle for that.
Aw COXY I love that little kitty. DP1 that doctor might think differently if she has to suffer the effects of Long Covid. Grr to her. SCARLET when my Bob was going through his C treatment and overseas holidays were out we decided to try coach trips. We were apprehensive before the first one but we loved it and went on to have quite a few more whilst we could.
Thankfully a much better night last night, just waking for a loo break, then straight back off again. No secret to it, just luck of the draw!
It's lunch with DF today but, as usual, I await confirmation shortly. She had finally got a doc's appointment for her DH yesterday and insisted on going in with him (he has always refused before and, of course, never tells the true tale) They got a sympathetic doctor who listened and she has referred him for various tests and the rapid weight loss clinic. DF is relieved that at last they will get some answers but, to me, it's not sounding very promising.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or sad. And the usual wave to our MIA. Take care all, be safe x

Bright and sunny here which is lovely it’s been a really good summer this year and I think they said another heat wave to come, my OH is so brown from working outside a lot - I dont think I have ever seen him this brown.
I’m off to take mum for a blood test this morning and then cook her a lunch, I will then come home and walk the dogs and prep our dinner, we are having crust less quiche as I couldn’t get hold of GF pastry and I CBA to make it, I will do a few new potatoes and some coleslaw to go with it, dd is meeting friends so will eat out.
I want to clean and sort out the fridge later ready for the shopping tomorrow, it’s got into a bit of a state.
Coxy cute Kitty xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Good morning
Cloudy out but I'm loving these cooler nights, makes it much easier to sleep.
Yesterday I had a burst of unusual (for me) energy and started washing down the skirting boards, they need doing often where big dog comes in. It helps that there hasn't been any rain recently but they still manage to get grubby. All done for now. Today there's more washing (isn't there always) and a cupboard to clean out in the kitchen. There will probably be things to go to the charity shop.
I'll be cooking a gammon joint so that'll be tea tonight, with new potatoes and veg.
Have a good day all, take care.

Thanks for the start Gers.
It's bright and sunny here with only a few clouds but definitely cooler at the moment. I walked along to see the little one at her swimming lesson yesterday and thought I was going to melt!
Pleased to hear your friend went with her DH to see the Doc TA, hope they get the help they need.
Well done on the healthy eating Izzy.
I'm not a cat lover Coxy but that little kitten is very cute.
Good decision Suffolksue, you can't wait that long when you're in so much pain.
Shame on that Doctor dp1.
I'm going to walk down to allotment 2 this morning, will take friend's little dog with me, she likes to have a paddle in the river on the way. Friend has said she will shampoo my kitchen rug today whilst it's still nice so will get that ready to take over to hers (only across the road), she has a nice flat patio to clean it on.
I've washed my raincoat this morning along with a pair of trainers and my slippers so they are out drying, will put another wash on once I've had a shower.
Hope you all have a good day, take care. XX

Morning everyone
Just eating my breakfast while I catch up on here, then I'll get the 9.30 bus along the road to get some shopping. I have a voucher for £19.66 to spend at Lidl, I won a prize draw. I don't actually need much today as I'm going away next week, I'll get some salmon to put in the freezer and mam needs some fruit.
She was very nervous about going out yesterday afternoon and was ready to change her mind when we got in the taxi. We went for a coffee at a cafe she's gone in for years and the staff were so pleased to see her, which was lovely. Then just a couple of shops, she enjoyed choosing her own toiletries and then the bus back to the care home. When we got back she admitted she knows she couldn't go out by herself anywhere now, she found the shops very confusing and had no idea where she was going on the bus back. Dad didn't fuss about her going out and was fast asleep in his chair when we got back. They're both going to church this morning, I'll go down this afternoon.
Right, must move as my bus is in 10 minutes and I'm still in my pyjamas! Hope everyone has a good day x
