Whoosh Winning Weekend Promotion on Capital, July 2026 – Specific Rules 

1. The Whoosh Winning Weekend promotion ('Promotion') is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Saturday 18 July 2026 to Sunday 19 July 2026 on the Capital Network (including Capital Scotland and Capital South Wales). Global is the Promoter. The 'Promotion Partner' mentioned in these Specific Rules is Tesco and the 'Prize Provider' is NDL Group. 
2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the 'Promotion Terms and Conditions'). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions. 

Details of the Promotion: 

3. To enter the Promotion, you must listen to the Capital Network including Scotland and South Wales, between 09:00 – 17:00 on Saturday 18 July 2026 and between 09:00 – 14:00 on Sunday 19 July 2026 (the “Promotion Period”) and listen out for the ‘Tesco Whoosh alarm’. 
4. Every time the Tesco Whoosh alarm plays, you will have 20 minutes to visit the 'Tesco Whoosh Winning Weekend' Promotion page on one of Global's participating Win platforms (www.winplus.capitalfm.com and www.winplus.globalplayer.com) and submit your entry (the “Promotion Round”). Links to the Global Win platforms will also be available via the station's main website, via globalplayer.com/win and on the Global Player app. Entry to this Promotion is free. 
5.The Promotion Round times will be stated on air when the alarm plays. Entries received outside of these times will not be included in the Promotion. 
6. You will have multiple chances to enter across the weekend. You may enter once per Promotion Round. All valid entries will be included in the final draw each day. 
7. Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries are prohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prize from you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methods or, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IP address, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, at our sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent. 
8. If we know or suspect you are trying to enter or have entered this Promotion by using more than one phone number or if we know or suspect you are using variations of your name, we reserve the right to disqualify any relevant entry(ies) and exclude you from this Promotion and also permanently exclude you from entering any of our Promotions. 
9. Within 30 minutes of the closing time of each day’s final Promotion Round, all eligible entries from that round will be entered into a draw and one entry will be selected at random. The selected entry must be eligible and not have been made in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. If the entry belongs to you, one of our representatives will call you on the telephone number on which you entered the Promotion. Please note, we will not be able to call you back on another number and we reserve the right to ask you to confirm your telephone number when we call you back. If you are unable to confirm your telephone number and we know or have reason to believe that you have breached the Promotion Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies), select another entrant to participate in the Promotion and/or withhold or reclaim any prize from you, as applicable. If the entry is ineligible, we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another entrant, as applicable. 
10. If you are this entrant and we call you, your call may be recorded for our records and you may be asked to have a call with a presenter. That call will either be broadcast live or pre-recorded for future broadcast. You must answer your telephone when we contact you. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. If: (i) you fail to answer the phone; (ii) someone else answers the phone; (iii) the call goes to voicemail; (iv) the call becomes disconnected; (v) you are not (or do not seem to us to be) in a position to safely and/or lawfully take or remain on the call (for example, if you are or seem to be driving); or (vi) you are not audible or intelligible or we are not able to conduct a conversation with you in a manner that is suitable for broadcast for any reason beyond our control (including, but not limited to: low/no signal on your device, a call is dropped by any network, you are travelling, there is too much background noise or feedback, etc.); before or during the Promotion, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable. 
11. Before being taken to air we reserve the right to ask you to answer participation entry questions to ensure you are eligible to play in accordance with the Promotion Terms and Conditions. This call will be recorded and may be used for monitoring purposes and/or as evidence should we have reason to believe there has been a breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions or if we find any inconsistencies in the future. If your entry is ineligible, either at the time of being taken to air to play or later once we have your full details, we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies), select another entrant to participate in the Promotion and/or withhold or reclaim the prize from you and select another entrant, as applicable. It is your responsibility to make sure you give us clear and truthful answers to our eligibility questions. 
12. We and the Promotion Partner and the Prize Provider may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party's (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion; subject always to our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws. 
13. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable in connection with the Promotion, unless you object to your and/or your guest's information being published or made available. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture. 

Eligibility: 

14. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry. 
15. You may enter the Promotion multiple times across the weekend but only once per Promotion Round.  You will only be eligible to win once.
16. Only one name and telephone number may be used by you in relation to this Promotion. The use of multiple names, telephone numbers and/or devices is a breach of our Promotion Terms and Conditions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and you will forfeit your prize should we know or have reason to believe that you attempted to use or did use more than one name, phone number and/or device to enter this Promotion. It is also prohibited for anyone else to enter the Promotion using the same phone number including household members or friends. 
17. Before transferring any winnings to you we reserve the right to request Photo ID (such as your passport or driving licence) and confirmation that the telephone number you entered on belongs to you and proof of your home address (such as a phone bill with your name, address and telephone number on). You agree and understand that should you win a cash prize you may be required to provide these to verify your eligibility. If you fail to provide the requested information and we are unable to verify your eligibility, we reserve the right to withhold any prize from you.

c.     7 nights' accommodation at a 4-star hotel in Montego Bay 
d.     All-inclusive board for two people at the resort including breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks

The following conditions apply to each prize: 

22. Saturday Prize (Dubrovnik): 
a. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the Prize Provider  and excludes bank holidays, Valentine's day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter in both the UK and Croatia. 
b. Prize includes return economy flights, all flight taxes and surcharges as well as one piece of checked baggage of up to 20kg per person. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winners nearest international airport that operates direct flights to Dubrovnik. Please note, this may not be your closest airport. If you don’t hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy. Although please note the cost of a visa of this kind isn’t included in your prize.
c. Due to the ever-changing travel advice in relation to world events, we would advise that you look at all the information available with regards to the entry requirements of the destination you are travelling to, before selecting your dates. To understand the risks in a country, follow FCDO Travel Advice. You can find information online at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. It is your responsibility to comply with any requirements for entering Croatia and upon returning to the UK. The Prize Provider cannot be held responsible for the winner not having the correct travel documentation or following any entry regulations. 
d. Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers. 
e. You will be staying in a 4-star hotel, sharing two double rooms with en-suite bathrooms on a bed and breakfast basis. If you'd prefer a twin room, the Prize Provider will do what it can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed. Your prize also includes tourism tax that is payable locally to the hotel when you check-out.
f. Your prize includes a private sunset boat tour for 4 people. Boat tour includes 1 alcoholic drink or soft drink per person. This experience lasts 1.5 hours and is subject to availability at the time of booking. 
g. Your prize includes a Montenegro Day Trip for 4 people. This includes return transfers from your hotel or local pick-up point. Experience lasts 11 hours and is subject to availability at the time of booking. 
h. Spending money will be transferred directly to the winner upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days. 
i. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them. 

23. Sunday Prize (Jamaica): 
a. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the Prize Provider and excludes bank holidays, Valentine's day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter in both the UK and Jamaica. 
b. Prize includes return economy flights, all flight taxes and surcharges as well as one piece of checked baggage of up to 20kg per person. A Saturday night stay is a requirement of your ticket. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winner's nearest international airport that operates flights to Montego Bay. Please note, this may not be your closest airport. If you do not hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy. The cost of a visa of this kind is not included in your prize. 
c. Due to the ever-changing travel advice in relation to world events, we would advise that you look at all the information available with regards to the entry requirements of the destination you are travelling to, before selecting your dates. d. Transfers to the hotel/airport are not private and you may be sharing with other passengers. 
e. You will be staying in a 4-star hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on an all-inclusive basis. If you'd prefer a twin room, the Prize Provider will do what it can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed. All-inclusive inclusions will differ depending on the resort, but typically includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, soft drinks, local alcoholic beverages, access to onsite facilities and activities. Some activities may incur an additional charge which are not included and are at the winner's own expense should they wish to participate. 
f. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them. 
24. You understand that should you win a prize package that is made up of various elements you are required to redeem all aspects of the prize in order to keep the prize. For example, for the Dubrovnik winner, you will not be able to accept the spending money only. If you are unable to accept the prize awarded in full, we reserve the right to withdraw the entire prize package and select another entrant to play or win as applicable. 
25. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests. 
26. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance. 
27. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively 'Covid Measures'). If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 31 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion. 
28. Travel insurance will be provided by the Prize Provider and is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply. Should the Prize Provider be unable to purchase travel insurance on the winner's behalf, a cash fund of £40.00 (Saturday Round) or £160.00 (Sunday Round) for the full travelling party will be allocated for travel insurance and will be provided to the winner via bank transfer. Should this be the case it will be the sole responsibility of the winner to obtain suitable travel insurance for themselves and, where applicable, their guests. 
29. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, checked-in luggage (where not specified as included), visas, meals not specified in the prize description, activities not specified in the prize description or activities at the resort that incur an additional charge, and travel to and from the departure airport are not included within the prize. 
30. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion. 
31. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Data Protection: 
33. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes. 
34. By entering a Promotion, any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and our Promotion Partner's Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner's Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you permission to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data. 
35. We, our Promotion Partner and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the UK and EEA for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where this occurs, we and the Promotion Partner will ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws. 
36. You can exercise your data protection rights, including your right to request the erasure of your personal data by contacting privacy@global.com. If your data is erased prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
