Has anyone heard of M:Panel?

Options
Hiya
I hope this is the right place to ask this but has anyone heard of or a member of M:Panel?
I only ask as have been asked to join it and it involves downloading something to my mobile phone.

Hope someone can help.
Many thanks

    Hi there!

I am a member of M:Panel. I decided to join this and I wasn't disappointed. The download to my phone was very quick and I don't think it cost anything or if it did it was only the cost of a standard text message.
I received my £15 welcome cheque not too long after joining and as long as I keep the software on my phone I will receive £5 a month (£30 every 6 months). As far as I can tell its totally worth it, there hasn't been an increase in my bills because of the software and i can't even tell that its there.
Also a good thing to know is that you get paid in postal orders which can be easily exchanged at the post office for cash.

    Hope that helps!

  • I've been signed up to M:Panel for just over 6 months so I just got my £30 on top of the £15 for signing up.
    Practically free money, isn't it?
It uses hardly any data for me.
And the £30 I got was in notes so even easier to deal with!

    HOW IT WORKS

Smart M:Panel members voluntarily install our research software on their smartphones via a text link sent to their phone. The software records usage of various mobile phone features - email, web browsing, games, etc. - and securely returns the data to M:Metrics without interfering with the normal use of your phone. Panelists are rewarded for as long as they opt to keep the software installed on their phone.
Go for it. Start receiving cash and prize

This was taken from their website. However, I just tried to join but my Motorola L6 phone is not eligible as it is not a 'smart phone'. :(
