HP agreement and Credit Card defaults
I have an HP agreement for a car which I use for work and ferrying around elderly parents. It's possible that at some point in the future I may need to miss credit card payments and default on one or more cards. I have a clause in my HP contract which says:
"During the currency of this Agreement, you must not:
- call a meeting of, or enter into any arrangement with, your creditors to repay your debts;"
From reading on here it is likely I would default on cards then wait and negotiate payments with debt collection agencies. Would this fall under this clause or would it only be a formal agreement such as an IVA?
It's a bit ambiguous as ANY credit agreement is an arrangement to repay my debts. Even if just a minimum payment.

As long as you maintain the HP payments, they (A) wont know, and (B) won`t care.
