Full Terms and Conditions

 

Promoter:

1. The promoter of this promotion is Waste Management Systems Ltd trading as HIPPO, whose registered address is 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 3EN (the “Promoter”).

Promotional Period:

1. The promotion will open at 10:00 on 1 June 2026 and close at 23:59 on 1 September 2026 (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be valid. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the opening or closing dates where reasonably necessary.

Eligibility:

1. The promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2. The following are not eligible to enter:
   • Employees of the Promoter
   • Employees of the Promoter’s affiliated companies or agents
   • Immediate family members of such employees
   • Any person professionally connected with the promotion
3. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age, identity and eligibility.

How to Enter:

1. To enter, participants must complete the entry form available at: https://hippowaste.co.uk/win-a-brand-new-suzuki/. Entry requires submission of the requested information and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is free of charge.
3. Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate, bulk or multiple entries may be disqualified.
4. Entries must be submitted by the entrant themselves.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted or not successfully submitted due to technical or other reasons.
6. Entrants are responsible for ensuring the contact details provided are accurate and up to date.

Filming Consent:

1. As part of the prize experience, the winner must agree to participate in filming and related promotional activity.
2. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that if selected as the winner they:
   • agree to be filmed during the prize handover
   • agree that video footage, photographs and recordings may be used by the Promoter for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes across websites, social media, digital platforms and other media channels worldwide
3. No additional payment or compensation will be provided for such use.
4. If the selected winner refuses or withdraws filming consent, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

Optional Surprise Contact Details:

1. Entrants may optionally provide the contact details of a friend, partner or family member to assist the Promoter in arranging a surprise prize delivery.
2. Providing these details is optional and does not affect eligibility.
3. If provided, entrants confirm that they have permission from the named individual for their details to be shared with the Promoter for the purpose of facilitating prize delivery if the entrant is selected as the winner.
4. These details will only be used in connection with arranging the prize handover and will not be used for marketing purposes.

Prize:

1. There will be one (1) winner.
2. The winner will receive: One brand new Suzuki GSX-8R road motorcycle, with the option of HIPPO race-style fairings, subject to availability. Approximate prize value: £9,999.00
3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash. No alternative prize will be offered.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances outside its control make this necessary.

Prize Delivery:

1. The motorcycle will be delivered to the winner’s provided address within Great Britain.
2. The Promoter intends to film the prize handover and may arrange delivery either as a surprise delivery coordinated with a nominated contact or as a scheduled delivery agreed directly with the winner.
3. The winner must make themselves reasonably available to facilitate the filmed handover.

Winner Selection:

1. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using a computer-generated random selection process.
2. The draw will take place week commencing 7 September 2026.
3. The selection process will be conducted fairly and may be independently verified if required.

Winner Notification:

1. If surprise contact details were provided, the Promoter may initially contact the nominated individual to assist with arranging the prize handover.
2. If no such details are available, the winner will be contacted directly using the email address or phone number provided during entry.
3. The winner will be notified within three (3) working days of the draw taking place.
4. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within five (5) working days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Publicity:

1. The winner may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity related to the promotion, including photography and video recording. No additional compensation will be provided.

Winner Information:

1. The surname and county of residence of the winner will be made available at  https://www.hippowaste.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/  within three (3) months of the closing date.
2. Entrants may object to disclosure by contacting web.enquiries@hippowaste.co.uk.

Motorcycle Responsibility:

1. The Promoter does not provide insurance, tax, servicing, licensing or maintenance.
2. All legal and regulatory responsibilities rest with the winner.

Liability:

1. The Promoter is not liable for loss or damage except where required by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

Fraud and Abuse:

1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries involving fraud, automation or manipulation.

General:

1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify participants who breach these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for technical failures.
3. The Promoter may modify or cancel the promotion where necessary.
4. Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
5. This promotion is not sponsored or endorsed by Suzuki.
6. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the entrant’s country.
