Amazon Music - no Prime discount if you buy via Apple App Store

Hi I am new to this App I have had Amazon Prime for many years which includes Amazon Music. I upgraded to unlimited because of the HD quality sound. However I noticed I was not getting my Prime discount.
the Problem is if you add this service Amazon pushes you to the Apple App Store which takes your payment which negates your discount.
I think this is unfair.
would like everyone’s thoughts.

(Edit to add: I don't know for certain that this is a direct consequence of Apple's appstore policies, but you should still try buying via a different route.)

Almost everyone agrees that it's a rip-off.

The EU has investigated Apple over their app store pricing for years, and has fined them 1.8 billion Euros.

It's specifically an Apple problem, and needs Apple to comply with competition law.

The alternative is to move to Android. Or buy an Amazon Fire tablet and use that for your music purchases. Or buy them from Amazon via a browser window on Desktop/laptop. Any route that avoids iOS.
