student loan - can they force you to repay?

I am repaying my student loan in the usual way each month, but I may be lucky enough to inherit some money in the next few months. Does anybody know, if the SLC get to hear about this, can they force me to repay my student loan with this money? (as its better to keep it in savings rather than repay the student loan).

MAny thanks

No. It's no different to someone saving their loan in an account - and choosing to pay the SLC from current earnings.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
