Ok so after my mini-meltdown last Friday, I have borrowed the money i was over on my o/d (due to redundancy etc.) and I am ready to start to beat my debts.
I start my new job tomorrow as well, which should be good and I have worked out my outgoings etc. and am working on what i can afford a month to help pay off my debts.
I have a quick question, i took out the payment protection insurance on a loan in September 07, i was wondering if i am able to cancel it at this late date? They were less than helpfull when i was made redundant, and I havent bothered claiming from it.
Thanks muchly!
Also, is it worth selling books on Amazon? They seem to be going for 1p which seems a bit dodgy?

You don't actually get 1p on amazon, you get about £1.71 for a 1p book, if it's a light enough book that you can post for cheap, then you stand to make about 80p profit.
I think you can reclaim PPI if it didn't pay out and you were told it would, have a look at the article.
