Freezing shop bought jam tarts and swiss rolls

Hi
I am starting a diet and want to freeze some things for DD's lunch box. I would bake, but my will power is rubbish, so if I buy individual jam tarts and mini rolls can I freeze them so she has variety and I am not tempted to eat them as they are all frozen! There is nothing on the packet so wanted to know opinions also things like malt loaf.

I freeze shop bought pastry, cakes etc and it freezes just as well as hm. Only thing is I would be wary of freezing anything with fresh cream? and frozen pastry can be quite fragile so I keep in plastic boxes. I often buy swiss rolls on offer (for trifle) and just throw them in the freezer as they come, though if I'm feeling organised I do put them in a freezer bag ;)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D
