Healthy Breakfasts without milk for my DD

My OH makes porridge with water only. Fruit salad with a mullerlight yoghurt over it is my fave snack - would make a great (summer) breakfast!0

stewed fruit, waffles, porridge, tomatoes on toast? oh, and I love dry weetabix with butter on... but I think I might be alone in that!

Some brill ideas here for me to work on. My DD just doesn't like the taste of milk (I don't know where she gets this from as i can drink millk untill the cows come home, excuse the pun).

is it maybe she doesn't like whole milk perhaps? I don't like it either,I find it too thick & sickly but I do like skimmed milk to drink and on cereals0

I can't stand the taste of milk and the thought of it makes me gag, think it goes back to the days of drinking warm milk from bottles at school, all those years ago. blahWhy didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:

Have you tried her with soya milk..either sweetened or plain..tastes good, and nothing like cows milk.0

I can only drink milk if its ice cold - takes most of the taste away.0

Eggy bread with a sprinkle of cinnimon.
Eggy bread with sausage or bacon and tomatoe.
Eggy bread and beans.
Pancakes
Potato cakes with bacon,sausage ect
Bioch with chocolate spread (for a special treat).
Or my daughters fave for the last 11 years (shes now 12) cold ham,cheese bread,butter and brown sauce.
Bran flakes with fresh fruit a tablespoon of yogurt and a sprinkle of nuts and rasins -pud for breakfast yum!
Porridge made with water but topped with yogurt and rasins and nuts.
Cheese on toast with grilled tomatoes on top.
Hope that a bit of help.
