Multiple CCJs at old address - never received claim forms - what should I do?
Hi all,
I've recently discovered that I have three CCJs on my credit file and I'm feeling completely overwhelmed.
The CCJs are dated:
- July 2025
- January 2026
- June 2026
All of them are linked to my previous address:
The problem is that I moved out of that address in May 2025, before any of these judgments were entered.
I had absolutely no knowledge of these claims, never received any claim forms, court papers or judgments, and only found out they existed after checking my credit file.
I haven't yet been able to identify the claimants for any of the judgments.
There is some additional background which may be relevant:
- I previously had issues with a cloned vehicle and private parking charges. I'm assuming these CCJ's likely relate to this. I randomly started to get an large influx of letters from private parking companies maybe around mid/late 2024, I thought they were scams at first due to me not recognising them, but later realised it was due to my car being cloned when the police stopped me in March 2025 (I have the crime reference number still that the officer provided)
- I successfully had another CCJ removed in the past from a private parking company after discovering it and dealing with it promptly (paid it off)
- I genuinely did not know about any of these three CCJs until now.
My questions are:
- Does the fact that all three claims were apparently served at an address I left before the judgments were entered give me grounds to apply for set aside?
- Should I obtain the claimant details for each CCJ before taking any further action?
- Is this something I can realistically deal with myself, or would I be better off using a solicitor or CCJ set-aside specialist?
- Has anyone successfully had multiple CCJs set aside where claims were served to an old address?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I don't know where to start. I need to get these removed as soon as possible as it's restricting my ability to finance things. I only realised after I tried to get car insurance recently and my premium went up by £600 on the spot.
Thanks.

Best looking on the parking board for info on this, lots of information in the sticky post, as this is a very common occurrence.
Set aside is expensive at over £300 per claim.

An application for a set aside is £313 at the moment, going up to £321 in mid month.
