Ed - I never hoard more than 20 at a time - I figure they can change the offer at any time so I spend it the moment it hits that mark. Atm I've made avail of their Uber offer and used it towards taxi's and grocery delivery.

I too do smallsmaller pots - will come back and fill in our strategy!

You could spend them and then deduct the equivalent amount from your grocery/whatever pot and send to more exciting projects? I never go over the initial £2.50 unless they've got some bonkers offer on, just spend them as I go

£117.50 Nectar points recycled.

£88 spent on the girls since yesterday, sometimes all one can do is wince and move on. Mrs E has now informed me that she wants to do a school uniform shop 😒 Not as if we can let them run around naked. I have gently pushed back on one or two things, DD1 has £££ burning a hole in her purse and we don't need to be funding much other than the basics if that is the case, is very much why she gets pocket money in the first place!

I'll make no apologies for this boring post, I know that the forumites on this board are a bunch of process-driven folk who love a good chore list 🤣

Woken up at 05:55 by either a noisy neighbour or a car radio followed by the slam of a car boot 😒 Listened to the last 25 minutes of my audiobook (Alan Moore's "I Hear a New World", for anyone who is interested), then got cracking with the sorts of tedious chores that creep up slowly.

• Got tonight's dinner in the slow cooker for a 10-hour bath, I am making carnitas using the Recipe Tin Eats recipe.
• Cleaned our coffee grinder, which is a mucky job. It didn't seem right to put this off as we have just had 2kg of beans delivered from our usual place.
• Ordered some small replacement parts for the grinder (apparently felt rings are a replacement part).
• Cleaned the coffee maker, not as messy as the grinder.
• Put on a small load of laundry (including using sticky stuff remover on an errant sticker).
• Put on and then emptied the dishwasher, put away all the dishes.
• Loaded the dishwasher up with oven trays and put these on for an intensive "tray" cycle with the extractor fan filters.
• Cleaned the oven (well, wiped it out after it had given itself a 250 degrees celsius steam).
• Put the breadmaker on (our usual small white loaf, lasts about 2 days).
• Emptied the bins and took out the recycling.
• Charged a stack of batteries that were starting to breed on the worktop.
• Cleaned around the sink and some of the kitchen surrounds.
• Ordered a well-priced stocking filler for DD2 that I have had my eye on for a while.

Planning on a pretty chilled day, otherwise, going to the cinema to see Toy Story 57 tomorrow (we have 1.5 free tickets).
