Remortgage with Accord

Hi we are in the process of remortgaging to accord and borrowing extra. We have had valuation which matched the figure used to base initial application on and have had questions to answer. How much longer will this take, it's been about 2 weeks now. I am worried they will decine on affordability even though borrowing extra to consolidate would mean we have lower monthly outgoings

If valuation has been instructed normally means the affordability has been OK. Normally accord is fast to give offer after a valuatiom, would expect a few days.

Could they still decline at this point. We have had questions regarding transactions. If they are continuing. Needing extra statements etc
