Question regarding IPA
Hello all,
first time posting,
I recently filed and was accepted bankrupt on 27th May, I had no interview with OR and was given my order, however, I now have a call with a gent from the IPA team on Friday to go double check my Ins and Out goings, I’m incredibly nervous about this, is anyone able to say if the call is quite intense or is just going through what the OR has already seen, I’m just worried about being slapped with an IPA:
My personal income is £2229 per month
My partners total income is £1039 per month,
Our outgoings are £2795,
however my partner contributes £500 a month to the bills and I pay for absolutely everything else, is my partners income or contribution likely to be questions, as the money remaining is hers and she obviously has her bills etc to pay and she isn’t part of the bankruptcy,
hope anyone can help or atleast make me feel a little more at ease, this feels like its the last hurdle to jump really before its sorted and just want it over.
Thank you

Typically It is expected that you will split bills and other household costs according to your income.
You earn about twice as much as they do, So it would normally be expected that your would pay 2/3 and they would pay 1/3. That may mean them paying about 900.
Is there a reason your partner earns so little? There can be exceptions here. eg if your partner had disability costs and any disability income. whjat bills do they have that are theirs? Do they also have debts?0 -
Largely just due to struggling to get a more full time based job, she is a housekeeper so only gets given what hours are going? Usually an avg of 20 hours, she has phone bills, some debt aswell to another phone company, and has to travel by bus to work as doesn’t drive, but is learning to drive so theres the cost of driving lessons in there aswell.
