Does anyone even bother with the Wii U these days?

If it's in good condition, I'd definitely try selling it rather than leaving it in storage. The Wii U still has a small but dedicated fan base, especially among Nintendo collectors and people who want to play classics like Mario Kart or Zelda. Collection only also sounds like a sensible choice for electronics, as it avoids the hassle of shipping and potential disputes. You might not get a huge amount for it, but someone local will probably appreciate it.
