BW Legal - Reoccurring Calls but no Letter

I have had several calls from “BW Legal” over the last month or so. The automated call always leaves the same voicemail:

”Hello, this is a voice announce message from BW Legal. Please listen to the full message. BW Legal have recently written to you on behalf of our client. I want to remind you to get in touch with us before the expiry of the letter. Please can you call us on company phone number.”

I have received no emails or letters to my address from them or their “client” who hasn’t been disclosed. I do not owe any debt or have any fines that I am aware of. If it is driving/car related, the address my car is assigned to - I again have not received a letter through.

I am getting growingly concerned as I don’t want to do any wrong doing. I’ve tried reading up on them as they have very negative reviews of catching people out. I have had mixed responses whether to answer or not answer the call, to email or not to email so I am really unsure of what to do! Please help!

Never speak to these people. Anything legal has to be sent by snail mail so unless you do receive anything through the post ignore them. Block any phone numbers you can.

Possibly the only other reason is that’s they have sent it to an old address as I did move last year?

In the meanwhile, I’ll block the numbers. Thank you!

Have you changed your address on everything to do with your car in case it is a parking fine?

Yes, all car documents have been linked to my current address.

It's likely to be someone else's debt and somehow your phone number has got linked to it. If you phone to 'explain' you may find it gets properly allocated to you. As above, block their number
