TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “The Co-operative Bank x Greatest Hits Radio” (the “Competition”).

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at:  http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html  (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

1. Entry Routes and Costs

Entries are restricted to one (1) entry per person (“Entrant”).

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

There will be three (3) (“Winners” of the Competition. All valid Entrants who answer the online question correctly on the relevant Participating Radio Station websites (see 1. Entry Routes and costs) will be pooled and the winner will be chosen by electronic random draw.

To enter, Entrants must answer the below question on the competition page:

Entries are restricted to one entry per person. Each valid entry will be included in each remaining draw during the Entry Period, with a chance to win at each draw date, unless the entrant has already been selected as a Winner. 

All valid entries received up to the relevant draw date and time will be entered into that draw. Entries received after a draw has taken place will be entered into subsequent draws. One (1) winner will be selected by electronic random draw on the following draw dates:

1. Draw Date 1: Monday 20 July 2026 at 09:00am
2. Draw Date 2: Monday 17 August 2026 at 09:00am
3. Draw Date 3: Monday 14 September 2026 at 09:00am

For Draw Date 1 and 2, Entrants must have successfully entered before the drawn date and time for your entry to be included into that, and subsequent draws. For Draw Date 3, Entrants must have entered within the Entry Period (see 3. ENTRY PERIOD).

Entrants will not be required to come to air.

Winner(s) will be contacted within 28 days after the relevant draw date. This will be by either email or phone call using the contact details provided on entry.

If we cannot make contact with the Winner after reasonable efforts within 5 working days, they will automatically forfeit their prize, and a new winner will be randomly drawn and contacted. 

3. ENTRY PERIOD 

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

Between 00:01 Monday 22nd June 2026 (start time) and 23:59 Sunday 13th September 2026 (end time).

Entries received before or after the entry period will be invalid.

All Entrants who answer the question above correctly during the entry period will be eligible to be entered into an applicable draw for a chance to win (see 2. COMPEITITON MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN)

If entrant(s) win one of the three prizes (see 5.0), they will not be able to win a second prize. 

4. ENTRY

RESTRICTIONS 

• Open to UK residents only 
• Persons aged 18 years or over on date of entry. 
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
• Use of a false name will result in disqualification.

5. THE PRIZE 

There will be three (3) Winners in total for this online competition. 

Each winner will win the following prize package for two (2) people:

• Total travel allowance of £50
• 2 nights’ luxury off-grid glamping in the winner’s choice of UK location
• Dinner and drinks at a local pub/restaurant, up to the value of £60 per person including gratuity
• Winner management

The Prize is provided by Element London Ltd (the “Prize Provider”) on behalf of The Co-operative Bank. Proof of identification and address will need to be provided by Bauer Media Group. The winner’s name, phone number, email and address will be cross checked against the Bauer Winner Database and only once when they pass the criteria, they will be deemed the winner of the competition and details will be provided to the Prize Provider, solely to organise the Prize.

One (1) prize will be awarded per person during the Competition Period. If a person is selected at random duplicate times during the Competition Period, then another Entrant will be randomly selected by electronic draw from the remaining entries. 

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered. The Prize must be taken by the winner, who must be over the age of 18.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of prize.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Element’s (the “Prize Provider”) Terms and Conditions:

The prize package is for two (2) people, all of whom must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; At least 1 person travelling must be over the age of 18; where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission; Travel expenses are included up to the total value of £50 GBP, which can be spent on petrol/parking or travel by public transport; Accommodation is based on two (2) adults sharing one (1) glamping accommodation unit, in winner’s chosen location; Accommodation will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; The prize excludes any additional travel costs, meals and drinks, incidentals, excursions, attractions, treatments, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available; Prize cannot be taken over Christmas and New Year (22 December to 3 January) or over Public Holidays; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time; All cash allowances listed will be sent via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of funds must be aged 18 years or older; If the winner elects not to, or is unable to, use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/

OTHER CONDITIONS

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. For SMS entries you automatically consent to receive marketing. You may opt out at any time by texting the word STOP to the relevant text shortcode number. If you have opted in to receive marketing communications, then your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.
• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
